Yoshimitsu as a character trend started in Tekken, so is technically a Tekken original character. But since Soul Cal and Tekken are the same universe, it makes sense that the Yoshimitsu line went as far back as it did.

I believe there is Soul Calibur 2 HD remaster for PS4. It has both Heihachi and Spawn playable there but not with Link.

Gerald was probaly the best guest star, at least the one that wouldnt over power others by lore reasons. Kratos and Vader wouldnt have much of a challenge fighting most of the SC cast.
