@snaggyak this looks way better than that other shit 😅
I've put around 35 hours or so into the game. The progression is VERY MiHoYo-RPG style where your mods/mod power straight up gives you a damage reduction/damage increase depending on if you're over or underleveled for the content. The PvP is compelling, I hope they lean into it, and microing your nano can have some fun effects. Just unfortunate that the PvE mode feels uninspired but well-done enough that you can definitely sink some hours into it.
In summary, it's like someone took the Destiny 2 light level system, put it into Remnant 2/Division 2 style third person shooter mechanics, and then put a Genshin Impact-style upgrade/power curve behind it where some things get stronger from the gacha, and other things can only get stronger if you farm for them and unveil the right attributes.
Also, for any that are wondering how Fry got lasered so hard in close quarters, holding right-click only allows you to point-shoot. If you tap right click, you full-ads and you get perfect accuracy on your optic. I'm not exactly a huge fan of that part, but I think the game is designed around it, because there are certain enemies that will launch mortars, and they'll punish the hell out of you if you're just tunneled in on your ADS.
God damn, this is like the 3rd sponsored video in a row. Man’s is making that bag
Biggest issue with this game is there are so many reports of security issues.
Care to elaborate?
@@phantaxsniper3681 The game has kernel-level anticheat similar to Valorant's
@@phantaxsniper3681probably malware/rootkits
@@phantaxsniper3681their “anti cheat” is also a key logger and has kernel access to your computer which is more access than administrator to your computer. If they wanted to they could overheat and blow up your cpu.
They can steal all your bank account or other account info with this anti cheat if it is present on your computer
Played this one since the first early closed test. Its first edition was so much better than what we now have. It makes it hard to play for me knowing what it once was. I can see the changes they made killing the gameplay loop in order to add more microtransaction methods. Reaaaaly sucks because this game was 10x better in its first ever beta/alpha test.
I’m really curious. Would you care to elaborate on what they changed?
@@zacharyfountain5417 Originally the focus was on the main character. Even a bit more of a lore/experience to it. You were some "white guy", completely different character that was replaced by 2nd test, and you had a set of 4 or so skills you could swap out. You could then research upgrades for each skill. It had a pretty diverse customisation system allowing for vastly different builds. You could hire characters but they didnt have overly much use bar unique skills. You had a great progression system where strength through playing was truly felt on you customisable hero. Changing clothes, bags etc. He had his own area in the hideout for customising and researching but when they dropped him they just left it an empty space. The hideout felt more full in version 1. You had 5 or so characters in a store type place just outside and you could hire up to 10. Theyd then wonder round the hideout and be able to be spoken to.
It felt like they changed it all up to open up to more cosmetics to be sold one day. Instead of one focused protagonist, you now had 100 faceless and soulless. Less customisation too. They even dropped the entire perk research/upgrading system because what felt like not working so well with the multiple character theme they were pushing.
In game pve felt better but it did need some sense of linear-ness to it. You had 4 levels essentially. You had to complete the boss on each to unlock the next. You'd start similar to how you do now only, you'd have no goal. Just kill things and wait cluelessly untill the main event started. It played better too though as there was more of a sense to explore, ammo was more sparse but guns more common making you swap out more frequent and just mixing it up. Pvp didnt change all that much but I also was more focused on the pve as that game mode felt like a really fun take on a co-op pve experience.
Sorry bit of a ranting essay, just sucks to see the changes come despite the feedback as I know I wasn't alone in feeling this come the 2nd test given the open feedback I saw. More changes too but I'd need a full hr long breakdown there :D
@@TiitchCi also was in the early alpha/beta tests and am SO disappointed in how it turned out
Now this is the kind of stuff i wanna see! New ideas and out of the norm gameplay. Im just so tired of every game doing the same crap at once.
I've been really enjoying SYNCED. I've put 34 hours in in just the past 2 days. I literally played it all day today and most of yesterday. All I want from the game now is a little more enemy variety and new Runners to play as. I hope that stuff comes with future updates, but otherwise, this game is pretty dope.
Looks pretty fun! I just tried the beta for The First Descendant, it's kind of fun too.
I played descendant and i feel its a low effort low quality warframe, not surprising tho since it will come to mobile
@@umizumiokoleleI feel the opposite, I feel like it's actually better than Warframe and has a more interesting plot to it
Also you should try out the first decendent, same studio, but has a lot more players and trending higher than synced
Steam Review: "The amount of hackers in this game is ridiculous, this one dude was shooting me through the wall so bad i thought he was a bot or something" classic free to play games.
Why are u playing PvP it's mostly focused on pve looter shooter
Nice to see you covering this one👍 I played this game back in 2021 when it was Synced: Off Planet, I first heard of it at Gamescom in 2019. I really love the premise of the game and it looks like they have updated a lot to the game since I played it in 2022.
It's crazy games like this and First Descendant are basically free to play, but games like Dead Matter are charging you. 😆 Oh, have you tried The First Descendant yet?
Super glad to see you play this..I’ve been hoping a bigger creator would do some content on this game.
this looks like it has been released 10 times already.
It probably actually did
Huh this looks kinda dope
For me iam not convinced 🫤
Apparently their anti cheat is kernel based. IE fucks with your system WAY beyond your control. In fact, it's above admin control. Talk about a big no.
just like valorant. If the product is free, then..... you pay with your own personal data transmitted to PRC Intelligence agency
@@trk1b28varianrhesa4 Difference is valorant doesn't spam your discord and get it banned or disable windows defender like this allegedly does
If the product is free, you are the product.
You should check The First Descendant, seemed very interesting the few hours I played it
I am really disapointed that they heve completely changed this game. The advanced alpha when i played was so much fun it was basically another battle royale game, where you fought to get to a ship to escape the planet. Loved it so much, really sad it went downhill
I haven't watched the video just yet, but the amount of HUD on the screen in this game looks kind of ridiculous lmao
You should try out The First Descendant! It's in beta right now until the end of the week. No one really seems to be talking about it either which is odd
Probably because it's made by nexon because they're known to be microtrans heavy but really nowadays who keeps the tab? Every game have micro trans..
First descendant is actually really good. The only problem I have is grinding for new descendants is pretty crazy
Big pass, not giving those shady companies kernel level access to my pc.
I'm guessing you've played 5 games in the last year with the same access requirements....
@@DriOffaPerc7143 wrong, I don’t play stuff with anti cheats that have kernel level access no matter how good they are
@@DriOffaPerc7143 beyond valorant, what other games do the same thing with kernel access ?
@DriOffaPerc7143 most games don't ask for rook kit acess for an anti-cheat
ive seen people talk a lot about how little the security is on the game. Also how massive the grind wall is.
I wish they could clean up the jank, aiming, shooting, hit reg just all around feel kinda ass. It needs heavy polish.
The pvp sounds like the OG cycle gameplay
Their anti cheat is very dangerous for security reasons. You literally give Kernal access to them which is sooo bad
Like Valorant?
(actman voice) modern gaming
@@BigfryTV It's much worse lol
Riot Games vs studio no-one's heard of.
Looks very similar to The First Descendant which also launched very recently
looks nice and polished, good job to the devs.
ooo def got to check this one out! this, shatterline and the descendants are on my list to check out
What happened to your other channel, Fry? I can't seem to find it
Ya I played Sync's first closed beta it had a lot of issues looks like they have been doing their work hell ya!
And coming to consoles in the near future? That’s what I love to see.
The game is simply unbelievable it’s different to everything that is on the market. It is a small combination aspect of variable loot and shooters but it has its own personality and concept. It’s totally different and the builds that you can make in his game. No other game has it not even division and it looks beautiful. The raids remains me a little of destiny.
A free trojen!? Where do I sign up!?
I know nothing about game development but these games look so generic and bland, you look at every popular game and u can see its uniqueness but this just looks meh
Oh nvm i know why, its owned by tencent 😂😂
Hmm, some of the visuals remind me about Ring of Elysium and it is published by Tencent. Not even gonna risk the anti-cheat they are pushing.
Pass.
66.5 hours into it, mainly play PvE.
Very fun game but the bosses can be absolute fucking sponges and the turmor (big floaty thing with lazors) can insta-kill you unless you're over levelled - even then it vanishes for 1 minute at a time which in later PvE makes it impossible to kill without getting carried because you're on a timer that stays between rounds.
Almost everything you play in the first zone PvE is all there is, after that the content is recycled but is changed up a bit.
Good until you get to gold mods where the grind really starts, because you're limited to 2 a day or have to farm a single mission to get more tokens to play the gold-level...levels.
PvP good. Only P2W aspect is the 2 characters, but you can unlock both reasonably fast. The main issue is the power scaling; you could be level 0 fighting multiple level 100's - but you can gain levels by just doing PvE, which is strange but nice.
SMGs are insane OP. Seems to be no damage drop-off or bullet fall, just a lot of recoil. Expect to get headshot aimbotted a lot.
The bad? Micto-transaction hell but more to the sense of pay to not grind. Very invasive anti-cheat (that hardly seems to work anyway lmao) & owned by tencent...
Yea saw mixed reviews and what not a little bit of gameplay and it’s meh
Warhaven just dropped aswel Bigfry if you want to check that out
Looks like they took some inspiration from Astral Chain.
I bet when bigfry makes a video on a game, the devs sit there like its the day of judgement, just praying for a good response 😂, this game looks pretty sick though and probably has a good future
Also check out that game Witchfire...
Hi will it be in xbox one ? Not the series? Like firsr decendant
Ive played alot of hames and this 1 stucki like it
this reminds me so much of division 2
The first Descendants!
Is this on steam?
Yes! Free to play!
That somebody was me :D
Bro you should vid on the new free game first decedents so hood so far
Good game. Little map :(
Try the first descendent
Someone really like astral chain
Why is it every game that I find to look exciting gets blocked by my anti-virus software? Another game I will have to pass on for that reason.
This game seems to have a lot of assets or something from Ring Of Elysium.
Both Tencent games.
I don't want to be cynical but this game probably gets abandoned in two years or earlier.
Same as RoE, devs killed it with their own stupidity.
👎
I didn't even notice that. It does look like characters and skins from RoE.
It was fun til you realize the pve content is super pay to win because of garbage gacha mechanics you unlock later on. pvp is also filled with bots and cheaters so that's dead from the get go.
That sucks, but who knows they could change and fix that. Many games do.
@@kevin11humor It's sadly a core mechanic because of specific "unique" guns you find.
I’ve been playing this game and I’d say it’s pretty good so far been waiting for your review
Looks fun
This looks super interesting, thanks for covering it!
Played it for a few hours. It was meh. Good idea, bad execution.
Character customization is minimal, all guns feel the same, boringly repetitive, enemies aren't getting harder but rather it just spawns more of them and makes them more bullet spongy. The "rogue like" tag is bs becauuse all of the power ups are region locked and in later levels 75% of them unusable by your character because you don't even spawn with your melee or secondary.
Often I join with 4 people and only 1 or 2 of them spawn in game with me (pretty much automatic loss). Shop with microtransactions and multiple currencies constantly in your face.
Nanos... are there. They... do something I guess? You can spawn them anywhere but it's not a big gamechanger.
Also their kernel level anticheat doesn't like Process Hacker which is really just a glorified task manager
bigfry can you make a video about the payday 3 situaiton
what the hell is this UI? it looks so busy
u playin with Daniel Larson?
The game looks great but I heard it has root-kit anti cheat?
Gave this one a shot and was just so bored by it. Just not much variety overall, and shooting felt bad, especially since everything is mid to close range everywhere. Bosses had mechanics sort of, but it was just 'shoot the shiny spot' type... every time.
It's lacking a lot of polish overall, and a lot of 'other' gameplay somewhere. Not sure how they are going to take this game beyond maybe a couple dozen hours if you are inclined to grind something in it.
I just played this last week its needs players pve and pvp.. its quite good..
Was the UI designed by Ubisoft or something? It looks horrible..
i'm downloading it rn
looks kinda fun with friends
It was pretty cool and original, I played the beta and it was pretty cool but didn’t captivate me much
Looks reminiscent of Destiny imo.
I loved the beta havent played full release yet
This game installs malware on your pc btw
Looks cool but waaay too much on that hud
This one I have to say, I ain't with it. I get it, but it seems too mixed of a bag from everything I ended up reading after I saw this come out. This is one of those games I'll have to pass on.
I must be getting old, there's too much going on the screen, I can't understand shit
I played the beta a bit back, game is not bad, just generic as hell. brings nothing new to the table just mixes a bunch of stuff. if you like it its fine just dont go into it expecting something ground breaking
Dam another warframe clone.
STANDO FPS
I’ve actually been playing it, I don’t get the hate it’s been a fun game loop to me
lol !!
Tenth
Looks like a mobile game
I don't like these types of games, Either go full on First Person view or 3rd person, it gives me motion sickness when the games switches as you aim.
i played when it was in beta and i can see not much changed btw the beta was so ass roblox was better
After almost 15 hours with Synced... i gotta be honest, the bread and butter is PVE. PVP is lack luster, and out of the 3 times i played it, i won 2. If others can have fun with , great but once all the PVE stuff is done, game is just boring. needs higher difficulty or just new content.
so liek destiny
not first
Looks awesome but I bet they made the same mistake and only released it on pc lol
Looks like 3rd persone shatterline to me
And the mixed reviews make me think its even worse
I get you need to make a living, but wasnt there any other way rather than to make 4 sponsored videos in a row?
Big Fry, have you seen one called The First Descendant?
I have! Not sure if I’ll cover it since it’s a short beta and I’m currently crunching on other things, but yes I have
lol shatterline clone
Looks like a boring spray and pray fest with no real thinking to it.
Total Money grab but PvP is balanced and fun for now
meh. a nothing burger for me.
Straight rip off of shatterline
Mobile game on PC awfull
3rd person so I have no interest. Shame it's not an FPS.
first
My man!
FIRST
Missed it by about 7 seconds, but I still appreciate you KING! 🙏
F2P red flag.
Game is so…. Damn… boring.
I tried it the other day, it's ok.
