I love to watch peoples reaction to the BeeGees and especially this song. Their faces when they hear Barry Gibbs amazing falsetto voice is priceless.
Barry is in the middle, Robin on the left and Maurice on the right. Maurice and Robin are twins. Love this!
My ALL TIME FAVORITE GROUP. This song is perfection in my eyes. Sweet Jesus this song is precious!
Barry Gibb is a legend with his falsetto voice. It's angelic.
They were a once in a lifetime gift to us all.
These vocals are not talent-they are a GIFT!
You got that right!
My favorite song and band of ALL time favorite🥰🥰🥰🥰😎😎 LOVE IT!!
This is Music to fight the Devil . A chorus of Angels . ❤️❤️❤️🙏
Barry laid down 18 tracks for this song and then with his brothers another 9. The producer said he sang each track perfectly, every phrase, breath and note exactly the same every time. Remarkable talent.
I can’t speak highly enough about the Bee Gees. The songwriting, harmonies, chemistry, longevity, unique sound and undeniable talent is in a league of its own. This song is the closest thing to perfection, everything about it is outstanding. 🙌🏻
Love love love the sublime talented Brothers Gibb !
@Vincent Valentine they probably will if the next generation of musicians is significantly more manufactured and processed than this one and if their memories of youth and first and best loves are all tied up with the songs of todays singers and groups like ours are with the Bee Gees and their contemporaries . Who was it who said that nostagia is not what it used to be?
@Ben Barnard. No truer words been spoken.
@Vincent Valentine I’d smack em and put on some bee gees
The brother standing there singing with his hands on his hip ....too cool!!!
Just so easy
The one & only Robin Gibb
The Bee Gees are legends !!!
Barry Gibb made AMAZING music, especially, when he used his falsetto!!
Bee Gees still getting respect.
The video you just saw was done on a sound stage for UNICEF. The Gibb Brothers donated the song/rights/video to them where it still raises money for kids. Over 11 million to date and still going.
Much respect for the Bee Gees ✊🏼
My first reaction from you. You’re adorable. I adore this song. My favorite!!!!!
Bee Gees are the best. I grew up watching them.
The Bee Gees donated all the money from this song to UNICEF what's up to this date as up to 10 million dollars
One of my sons has diabetes. When we took him down to a special hospital for that, the wall showed that the Bee Gees were the biggest donors.
I thought it was up to 17 mil
@@thebrazilianatlantis165 wow thats beautiful, all the best for your son
That magical voice in the middle is Barry Gibbs. He has been married to the same woman since his early adult years. He is the last one left as the two you see there and his youngest brother Andy have passed.
This was my wedding song. Check out their brother Andy Gibb's song "I just want to be your everything."
I was just going to mention this song and Barry's 2 duets with Barbara Streisand, Guilty and Whose Sorry Now
Barry Gibb is the one in the middle. The three are brothers. Barry is the oldest. Robin on the left and Maurice are twins. Maurice passed away from complications from some internal issues and had a heart attack. Robin died in 2012 from complications from collateral cancer. They also had a younger brother Andy who also died after struggling with cocaine abuse. Barry is the only one out of the 4 that is alive
Barry is the middle guy. He’s the only brother left. He’s 75. A humble, kind, one woman man! Celebrated his 51st wedding anniversary last September. 😊
Barry, the oldest, is the one in the middle. Robin, the one on the left, could actually sing higher. They all have uniquely beautiful voices.
Robin could not sing higher than Barry, don't be giving the Doc misinformation on the Brothers Gibb..
@@Lee_yourboylee That is not misinformation. Robin's natural voice was higher than Barry's natural voice, And check out "Living Together" Robin sings falsetto in that song.
Barry hits the highest notes sorry you are wrong.
@@ellenmontgomery8533 Yes, I've heard Barry say that Robin's natural voice is higher. But Barry hits the highest notes. This is because falsetto achieves the highest notes and Barry's falsetto was higher and superior to Robin's. C'mon, let's not be giving the Doc misinformation.
Like Brian, Dennis and Carl Wilson.
Great reaction. Best group ever! My group all my life!
There's the reaction. I was waiting for. And about the hair, it's all genetics. Their brother, singer Andy Gibb, also had beautiful hair.
Their younger brother, Andy, also had a similar voice to Barry’s. Love The Bee Gees!
I grew up with the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this & they were brothers, & Barry(the one in the middle) is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over decades, & crossed many genres!
It’s great to see the younger generation enjoying my generations music. Thanks for the grin
This song came directly from heaven and Jesus himself sung it for us with 2 angels beside him.
Barry Gibb is the guy in the middle and is the oldest by three years of the others, who are fraternal twins Maurice and Robin.
.. and sadly missing them both...
@@GinMae Yes, and Andy too.
The oldest and the only one left.
So sad Barry has lost all three of his younger brothers. Amazing singers all Gibbs.
Beautiful hairs there....!!!
One more thing about this video. Although this looks like a live version, it is only as far as the images themselves. They made the video and then used the recorded in studio version for the audio to merge both. When this song was recorded, as it is often the case for many vocalists, each part of the songs were recorded separately. The music, the harmonies which all 3 are performing and then Barry's solo parts. It was then just a matter of mixing all the parts together in the studio. It was the same method for example for Olivia Newton-John's song A Little More Love in which Olivia sings the solo parts as well as all the harmonies. I am mentioning Olivia since Barry wrote songs that she recorded like Carried Away. She also performed in duets with Barry for Face To Face and then also his younger brother Andy for Rest your Love On Me.
Unfortunaterly there is only one now Barry the lead singer. I was fortunate to meet him and he is the nicest celebrity I ever met. Very down to earth and a lovely man.
I get goose bumps when I hear their music.
I just stumbled upon this channel and I love it. The Bee Gee's have always been one of my favorites. Barry Gibb (the one in the middle) is insanely talented.
He has officially been Bee Geed !!!
Barry Gibb is the one in the middle! He is amazing!
their vocals give me chills lol thanks for taking this request
Love the Bee Gees! Try How Do You Mend A Broken Heart and Run To Me!
This is the music us boomers are still listening to and I know you're starting to understand why.
Love your reaction to this song, this song is beautiful. The Bee Gees were awesome!
Even the lows were high which i LOOOOOOVEE♥️💜💙🧡
THIS IS EARNED GENIOUS!!! SO SPECTACULAR!!! BRAVO!!
Amen, the world needs this
This is the type of music that just makes you wanna slow dance with your spouse in the kitchen while making dinner 💜
My suggestion: Somebody to Love- Queen (official video)
Lily, yesssss, I was thinking the same thing--slow dancing with the hubbie!
Your hair is PERFECT!!😂😂
I NEEDED A GOOD LAUGH TODAY!! YOU MADE ME SMILE!!! GOD BLESS, MY DEAR BROTHER!!
More then outstanding... I believe they did like 24 or 26 overlays in the studio... Turned out AMAZING. LOL... I cried when DISCO DIED !! Lol... Thumbs up and Peace be upon you... Strength & Honor.
Barry is the one with "the most incredible falsetto" and the only surviving Gibb brother. The are all talented singers and song writers and wrote the theme for "Grease" sung by Frankie Vali and wrote songs for Barbara Streisand and Dione Warrick.
Grew up listening to them and to this day they are my favorite group. Love your reactions to them. They have a huuuuuge catalog, so dig in and enjoy! Barry is the one in the middle. He's still performing!
The secret to good 70’s hair.....
Beer and honey, all the good shampoos had them.
Loved your reaction!
Legends! Stunning!
Thank you for your reaction fun and great as always. The best part about The Bee Gees is they can pull it off live . Yes to some more Bee Gees.❤️😃👍🌼✌️ Love and peace.
His name is Barry Gibbs, his Falsetto is amazing.
PRICELESS .
AND OUR VIBES WENT STRAIGHT UP 👆 RIGHT !
I have to say in watching certain videos that I love to see you interact your baby. You are an amazing dad. I love it! You are an amazing role model and dad.
Never too much. Thank you for the reaction. That was perfection
The Kings of Disco!
Yeah - music!!! :-) When it was made, when there were magic.... Great reaction bro!
We are all brothers and sisters. Thank you my brother
They're biological brothers. The one in the middle is the oldest, two other brothers are twins and are few years younger than him
They been legit since their childhood! They are brothers. Their last name is/was Gibb. Check out their song, "Words". Definitely worth a listen, as is ALL their music!
Great reaction fella. I was born in 69, the music from 60s up till late 90s and some beyond for me was so inclusive. The many bands were mixed, it felt like tomorrow would only get better. But now the music seems so angry and we all know it can change our mood so quickly, that's its power. I just hope we all learn to use it again and actually treat each other as equals and enjoy life. As we get older we reflect more and more on what we haven't done or could have been. Hope a new generation like you is discovering the wealth of good music and makes your soul rise. Finally, humans have done many a bad thing over the centuries to each other, we cannot take time back but we can learn and work together for the better, key word to all is respect....a word very low in the world at the moment. Dave UK
Amen to that! I was born in 1947. The music through the 70s is comfort food for me. It makes me smile to younger folks appreciating this music . I share Dave's sentiment we're all in this together! Music and artistic expression can bring us together. You are doing a wonderful thing by sharing this with others.
They were three brothers, originally from Australia, who began singing as children in the late 1960's. Barry (the guy in the middle) was the oldest; the one on his left, in this video, was Maurice (pronounced 'Morris,') and the one on his right, Maurice's fraternal twin brother, Robin. They were some of the most prolific singer/songwriters of their time. Maurice and Robin are now gone, but Barry is still around, and still doing some touring, I think, and producing. (It's sad, though, 'cause, of course, he looks so old now.) In my opinion, they were three of the most talented men on the planet. Their music was magic.
Born on the isle of man then moved to Australia as kids they are English
Born Isle of man ,partly grew up in Manchester then moved to Australia
Not from Australia. Born in The Isle of Man, moved to Manchester and then emigrated with parents to Australia. They came back to the UK to further their music career.
I actually think Barry looks great for 74. Still writing and playing only now with his sons. Legend.
The Bee Gees are English born. They emigrated to Australia in the early 60s, lived there several years and it is where they started their singing. The earliest clips of them performing are on Australian television shows. They have a sister Lesley, who is still alive and remained living in Australia while the brothers went overseas to establish themselves. Lesley lives in New South Wales, a state in Australia.
In their day, they were Kings.
You funny with the reaction to Barry's falsetto! It's a beautiful thing to hear. I love the way he takes his time with phrasing the notes. Good God Almighty!
I can't even begin to put into words to express how much I love listening to the Bee Gees. I have goosebumps all over when I hear the harmonizing and Maurice with his high notes. They always swell my heart... Thank you for this video :)
The Bee Gees were the sound of the 70's, they are the disco kings
your reaction is as beautiful as your smile xx
This is summer of '79----------------Barry in the middle--------------Robin on the left---------------Maurice on the right ------------------note-perfect harmony. --------------------their 6th # 1 single, & the biggest of their career. -----------------------------WolfSky9, 73 y/o
That is what we from back in the day called "Smoove!!" ;)
A lot of babies were conceived when this song was playing the record player. I’m pretty sure my twin and the were conceived when this song was playing on the record player. 😯🤗
will you still love me tomorrow..bee gees..awesome group..best
Minnie Ripperton " Lovin' You" ( 1975) an amazing song by an amazing singer 👍👍👍👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️♥️😯😲
so many people didt listen to the bee gees because they got tagged disco but in reality disco is dance music and love songs , barry gibb the guy in middle he wrote so many hit songs that other famous people saying you wouldn't believe the song titles he's responsible for, he is 1 bad dude
I love their song Fanny (Be Tender with My Love ).
Doc, I'm having a blast watching you enjoy this music. This is some of the music during my day, my girlfriends and I danced all night long to the Bee Gees. The funny thing was that the guys were jealous of these cats and most of them wouldn't dance to their music. Can you believe it? Other music was Marvin Gaye, The Jacksons and all those cool groups. Soul music. Oh my gosh, it was an excellent time. Enjoy this music, there is so much more from the Bee Gees.
"Hey Rich, hold my beer"....I almost pissed my pants!!! Great video brotha!
Timeless classic ,harmony perfection !
Great job reacting. Some excellent reactions without interrupting the song #GreatJob
They never made a Penney off that song all rights went to UNICEF. Although Barry in middle sings falsetto Maurice on right sings higher and a slightly of key to give the unmistakable 3 part harmony of the bee gees sound. Left was robin he also has a unique voice mainly in solos parts in other bee gees hits. 26 studio albums hundreds of millions of records sold. Consecutive hits in the charts at the same time, chart hits in 5 separate decades. I rate them as best groups ever to have lived.
That’s very interesting.
love your reaction it's such a beautiful song
Alot of babies were made to The Bee Gees music!
Barry Gibbs the High Voice---Back in the Days . These are back with REAL Music with
Real Instruments. World needs more Love
Damn! Beautiful song!
The only group in music history to have 5 straight number 1 hits
I grew up listening to them from my brother. That was in the 60's and so on...l am a big fan and when I want to escape a little from this crazy world..I listen to them and mellow out. You would also like "Average White Band" (A love of your own in concert.)
They all have that ability. Barry is the middle and oldest brother. The other 2 are twins. They write all their music.
You should see the Bee Gees performing How Deep Is Your Love.
Middle guy is Barry, he's the only one left alive. There is also another brother Andy, he also sang like this, but he died very young and before the others. They said he died of a "broken heart" .. watch his video "I just want to be your everything". This family is an institution, incredibly talented.
It was coke. Unfortunately, he became addicted. His mother always blamed herself, as he went to her saying he was broke. She gave him money, and he bought the drugs that killed him with it.
LOVED YOUR REACTION ❣️!
SOUL MUSIC FOR THE "SOUL"
🔥Slow Dancin’ to this ... Your girl be rubbing on you like a cat ! .... High school dance 💃🕺🏼❤️
Barry Gibb is a G 💋 voices like angels ♥️
Imagine growing up with this…and the Stylistics, (my own true love) Al Green, and I could go on….I feel sorry for y’all. We had all the good music !!!
And that industrial sized water made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt!!!
The guy in the middle is Barry; he is the oldest brother; the other two are twins: Robin and Maurice. Sadly, Robin & Maurice have passed on. Another brother Andy Gibb had a few hits of his own. Andy passed away at a young age. Barry and an older sister are the only ones left. Barry tours with Maurice's daughter, Samantha. RIP Andy, Maurice & Robin. React to: "Spirits Having Flown" by the Bee Gees. :-)
Closing your eyes cause you're dancing all up in your mind. LMAO I do it all the time 🤪
You Make Me Feel Brand New by The Stylistics( with lyrics). Awesome song.❤❤💘
They were all so talented and the one in the middle was Barry the last bee gee
Barry is the middle brother...and they are brothers...the other two are deceased..Barry is the only one living..This song was recorded in 1978...Fabulous...I could listen to this song all day!
