Happy new year! Glad to see your videos. I have not been able to put out videos because neither of my cameras are working and everything is weeds anyway. Hope you are enjoying your new home!

Hope you're able to get a working camera soon. When filming, just weed the area that is seen on screen.

I followed you last year doing Geranium cuttings, I'd never took cuttings before at that time of year, i always waited until Spring but your advice was spot on and only a few failed so thanks for that, I'll have a lot of flowers this year. I'm near Blackpool. Lancashire.

I'm really looking forward to the end of January / February to start the sowing, growing & harvesting cycle over again. Although there is still, and has been life, at my allotment, its a bit sad October onwards as much goes or fades away. All the best, I look forward to continuing to watch your videos. I also think its a good idea how your going to do your videos too.

I've still got leeks, red cabbage, various brassicas and parsnips in. There's always something growing in the ground, even at this time of year.

I just sowed some snowdrop bulbs that sat on my buffet for (2) years. It's be interesting to see if they grow.

@@portiaholliday8741 Hopefully they'll be ok. You may find fewer germinate though. As long as the bulbs where firm when you planted them and not soft and mouldy.

@@clairesallotment Yes, the bulbs were firm. They were so small that I used my Sneeboer bulb planter and planted bunches of them together. I am confident that they'll be fine. I am enjoying the Brussels that you told me to start in trays:-) I will sow in April this year rather than June. I really should ttrial every week up until June to see which week works the best. I am concerned that April may be too far in advance of summer equinox and they will all go to seed. Our planting along with you will be valuable to help with timing. I am focusing on just a few crops so that I don't get overwhelmed Hoss Tools has a lovely "Row by Row" show. I am impressed with his convection cooker. Mom frowns when I convection cook in our oven bc it raises her gas bill.

@@portiaholliday8741 Planting in clumps is always best, they look more natural that way. You know your weather better than I do. It's always a bit of trial and error before you find what exactly works for you. Have a fabulous season and I hope everything grows really well for you.xx
