People don't realise this but Saitama represents hope above all else in OPM. He always appears to tell the heroes there will be a brighter future even in the darkest hour, he built his power from literally nothing, he is above the hero organisation in his morality. The mangaka really crafted a beautiful story about the potential humanity has to overcome it's monsters

I DEEPLY recommend reading the manga, the God-tier art of the artist is a constant that never stops giving and you keep getting 'S1 vibes' through the entire thing.
Finally a longer version Also we hv to talk abt his moral qualities more often, like his humility and him being inclined to simplicity and his selflessness.
