I managed to snag it and upgrade it with a powerful Biorestorative underlay, so not only does it boost three of your stats (Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma if I recall correctly), it adds a +3 to my Constitution and 3 points of regen every second. My Jedi Master is awesome lol

I always prioritize the dexterity and wisdom attributes with my character because of Handmaiden’s battle precognition. It’s always fun to watch enemies fruitlessly attack me and not landing a single hit, and with the finesse feat, basically they can’t hit me, but I can hit them

I know dueling feats are not the best optimization, but it looks so nice the single blade style. Power attacks are sick jump flips, you land attacks really easily and defense is great.
    Just smooth overall.

    • @Theinen84
      @Theinen84 Před 4 měsíci +1

I wish SWTOR kept the dueling style for attacking. All three are cool, but I think two weapons look best, then single blade then double bladed. I just like all the lightsaber twirling and spins. Single blade definitely has the coolest Flurry though.

Currently doing something of a Cross-Class strategy - I'm currently at Jedi Guardian 15 and Jedi Master 13 on the Restored Content Mod! Wielding twin purple lightsabers and being able to use Force powers like Lightning, Stasis Field, and Destroy Droid (might add Force Choke to it later as I have all the buffing powers as well).
My starting stats were the following:
    Strength: 14
    Dexterity: 12
    Constitution: 16
    Intelligence: 8
    Wisdom: 14
    Charisma: 12
    - For a while, I did level my STR to 16-17 (later got Sith Power Gauntlets and Dominator Gauntlets) and then finished off my CON at 18 (better implants appear with a higher Constitution, especially ones that boost your stats or give you immunities).
    - Around Nar Shaddaa, I then put all my focus on my WIS after I prestige into Jedi Master. I already had a good amount of armor and crystals that boost my WIS and Charisma. The character crystal you get later REALLY boosts you up on a lot of your attributes, especially WIS. Certain Jedi Robes even help with this like Ossus Keeper Robes, Nomi's Robes, etc.
    - Also if you're playing as a male Jedi character, your training with Handmaiden (and speaking about how she is anticipating your moves) gives you Battle Precognition which calls for your WIS attribute to be added to your defense. So even if you have on robes but your WIS is high, your defense will go up dramatically along with whatever attachments you have on your lightsaber(s).
    - I went dual lightsabers just because I can have more attachments and upgrades on two of them than I would with one lightsaber or a saberstaff/double-bladed lightsaber. Having Expert Fencing Emitters on both of them along with Battle Precognition and Master Force Speed... just try to touch me with my 40+ defense. Plus, I have Master Jedi Defense.

Dont sleep on constitution. It may not be a "sexy" stat, but remember that the higher it is, the better implants you can wear, which means in some cases you'll get the stat you wanted to level from an implant anyway, except now you have that, AND more HP+Fortitude.

Watching this a huge fan of KotOR and KotOR II TSL, my most recent playthrough with my Jedi Consular Jedi Master. Influence guides have really helped me get Disciple, Bao-Dur, Atton, and Mira to become Jedi in that order. And for their builds, I just built their best attributes and put a lot of points into Treat Injury into Atton because it really helps.

Stun Droid is great for Light Side if you’re choosing not to use Force Lightning. The high level can stun up to *three* droids all at once. And temporarily disable them.
Very handy on GOTO’s yacht and assaulting the Sith Temple on Dxun.
There’s nothing like using Stun Droid on a row of three HK-50s.
    Meatbag, indeed!
I should mention this power also affects turrets! Even the little ones that shoot cold.

My favorite Force powers for a Sith Lord build are Breach, Plague, Insanity, and Scream. I use the Duelist and Finesse (Lightsaber) with high Dex, Wis, and Cha scores. I love debilitating my opponents into oblivion while having a high defense and insane force ability damage output. Force Storm, Kill, Wave, and Scream are my go-to sources of damage. And I use both Drain (Death Zone) and Force Drain to replenish my health and force points as needed. Master Speed is also a fantastic universal buff for any alignment. I know I've practically listed all of the major force abilities here, but there are so many good choices.
Obviously a Jedi Master is going to have easier access to the defensive and buff oriented force abilities, which is why I use Dex as my main source of physical defense and damage mitigation in fights.

Canon wise, I'm pretty sure Exile used blasters up until she got a new lightsaber. A fully upgraded Mandalorian Disintegrator does a ridiculous amount of damage that even she would keep one as a backup weapon.

my favorite combo is jedi consular/jedi watchman or jedi consular/sith assassin for high wisdom force focus insanity or kill for a boss and max sneak attack bonus i love boosting up to 18 base con as well high priority to buffing wisdom every 4 levels because high con implants never get above 18 base requirements and there are great stat-boosting implants, as regards to jedi maste ror sith lord even when i play a force build that spams force lightning i choose weapon master or sith marauder because the jedi master or sith lord classes aren't that great by the time you reach level 15 you gout most force powers any way

From what I read, the stats increases from going Sith Lord or Jedi Master suck in comparison to the stats increases from remaining as a Consular. This is why my favorite combinations involve building a Strength based Consular. 😛
Consular to Sith Marauder/ Sith Assassin. With the Dark Side powers to absorb health, and absorb Force points, your Force pool and Health pool becomes irrelevant. Also, if you delay leveling after reaching level 15, and delay the Prestige class and go straight to the planet where they give you Force Potency form, you have the best power of the Sith Lord and Jedi Master. Honestly, the only power of the Sith Lord and Jedi Master worth getting.
The bonuses of these classes are better. The rage power of the Sith Marauder doesn’t stack with Master speed, but you can wear massive energy armor, and wade into close combat, crushing your foes. With the Assassin, spam Force Camouflage and use your sneak attack bonus. 😮

  • @Cba409
    @Cba409 Před rokem +2

In Kotor 1 scoundrel/consular and scoundre/guardian are the strongest class combos.
In Kotor 2 the sentinel and WM/Marauder and Consular with either Jedi master or sith lord are the go to combos.
Anything else is playable but not as efficient than the aforementioned class combos.

  • @ProfBrunoClemente

I've beaten the game many times, now I'm replaying as a Consular/Jedi Master for rp reasons, even if Jedi Master is WEAKER than the regular Consular.
Despite what people say, Jedi Master works better for Guardians and Sentinels than for Consulars, adding a greater force pool (specially for Guardians) and powers, but those benefits are kinda lost in a Consular.
What pisses me off the most is that Battle Meditation is straight up better than the Jedi Master special power in every way.
I guess they can stack, but the short power durations doesn't even make it a good addition.

Very nice and well thought out video for Jedi Master. I recently picked up the game for the Switch (no expanded content for me), but still like the game and the d20 system I grew up playing with. Thank you very much for the tip about regenerate force points feat. I didn’t know you get that automatically as a Master and it would be a wasted feat past lvl 15.
In your opinion, are skills important? I give my characters a 14 int score because of the skill deficit of the class. That means I give my str an 8 and my dex a 10. I’m curious what you think.
