those kind of vents are galvanised in real life...that is they are plated with zinc...that was the reason why he was not able to see or hear him in the vent... they should have explained it clrly to avoid this confusion
@@rr.studios On a first watch 90% of people will either not know that vents are plated with Zinc, or will forget that that's his weakness since it hasn't been brought up since season 1 which is 5 years ago in real time. I'm not even entirely convinced that the writers remember that either. It could've at least have been brought up after the fact. The amount of times a protagonist enters the same room as homelander and comes out alive is ridiculous, he isn't feeling nearly as scary anymore and people have to come up with reasons on their own to defend this.
Also, your theory is a bit wrong, only soilder boy can remove compound v from your body. No other supe can other than him. And IMDB doesnt list Soilder Boy this season, so its unlikely of A-train's powers get removed.
I feel like fake noir could be a red herring of sorts, despite sounding the same. Maybe they'll play out that twist from the comics because he's acting a bit too goofy
By the same logic we could say Ashley is gonna die or that "Assasination run" might actually be referring to "presidential run" which would fit since Neumann is trying to become the president
I recon Sister sage is going to mess with him and inject his brother with the compound V, then tell A Train they know he took some from homelander’s stash and they “understand” because he did it for his brother, even though they know he gave it to Hughie. Also have you noticed how almost all the supes and those effected by compound V hallucinate? Homelander talks to himself, the deep talks to animals, Butcher sees his wife and potentially the other bloke, Hughie may have seen his mother and his dad may have also hallucinated her when he woke up. Maybe V is an alien compound and the worms are baby aliens? Anyway what I’m getting at is if all that’s true then it’s gonna come out that the deep just likes fucking sea creatures and none of them are in on it. I really wanna see his face if that ever comes out and he realises.
I could see A-Train dying, but to possibly save someone or make a sacrifice as an end to his redemption arc. I hope he at least gets to body some of the 7 before tho. I wanna see more A-Train fight scenes
I think Hughie is A Train’s first save. Also he didn’t have simple plot armor on the vent, the vent qas actually made out of zinc, the one metal Homelander can’t see through
Something bad is definitely gonna happen to A Train. I do hope they subvert our expectations a bit though. Maybe Homelander lasers off his legs instead. Making him live forever in a wheelchair. Making it poetic.
Nah he’s pretty tough. He literally no sold a collision with Hughies gf who exploded from how fast he was going and could punch kimiko through a brick wall without even using his speed. The reason his leg broke was because the compound v was making his bones weak
Who would win in a fight? A demigod? Or A tube of zinc plated mild steel.? The plot armor is so strong that it has eliminated the stakes from the show. The show has become inconsistent with what the rules are, and borderline incoherent in the plot.
It’s possible that A-Train will somehow lose his powers but not die. Since that is what happened to Queen Maeve in Season 4. She did not die (somehow) but she lost all her powers and went to live a normal life
@@igorKhymynuk-jd9mpHe was way more skilled yes but Kimiko has stronger powers especially healing. And now Kimiko has a ton more experience than she used to.
I can imagine a chase sequence between him and Homelander, with Homelander cutting him off in the chase and it will be like A-Train running into a brick wall.
Episode 8 of Season 8 is litterally named as "Assassination Run". Each episode names gives a little spoiler of what will happen in that episode. so I wonder why "Run" is in the title... In Episode 5, Sister Sage litterally said to A-Train "i dont think the footage from the crime analytics ran it's way and got into the boys hands, am I right? Episode 5, A-train almost died but thank god ashley decided to be a good person for once and decided to make the news reporter die. Sister sage 110% knows that A-train was behind the crime anayltics theft, and he is the one did it. Sage is just playing mind game. And lastly, A-train has been doing too much risky stuff this season, specially stealing the V from Homelander's room!?! When ryan went to Butcher's place, homelander smelled it from like 20 feet away, and since A-Train runs alot, he sweats so much. So like its pretty much clear that homelander will know later on this season that A-train is betraying him and homelander hates betrayals. So yeah, R.I.P A-Train in an advance. He had the best chracter devlopment among all the characters. He went from the most annoying character to the most loving character this season.
Everyone hear forgetting one of the most important things Maive did last season. She stabbed Homelanders ear drum. They haven't brough it up but I guarantee he cant hear like he did in Season 1
It would be logic if A train saved someone, it would be either Hughie or Annie. Since Hughie got saved already by him. It would be nice it would be nice if he saved Annie. Also because she is Hughie's girlfriend, and he has the chance to save Hughie's girlfriend.
I think it would be poetic if A-Train sacrificed himself like Queen Maeve did in the comics, only instead of trying to protect Starlight, he's trying to protect Hughie. When we first see A-Train he irreparably changes Hughie's life, the last time we see him, he's just saved his life.
A-Train's for sure biting the dust this season. They're not only setting him up as a turncoat, but if not for Ashley he would've straight up died at the end of episode 5.
I feel like he is going to sacrifice himself. The scene where the brother tells him he has never saved anyone and that he is not a hero, proves as you said that he will be saving someone and die in the process
If he were to die I feel like the best way would be if Homelander went after his family after discovering he was the leak with A-Train sacrificing himself to save them. That way he has a heroic death and redeems himself to his brother, he has done too much messed up stuff to get away clean like Maeve
Frenchie dying honestly wouldn't be big enough of a death for the finale. He's been uninterested and useless for a while now, to the point where I'm dreading the time he's on screen taking away from other characters screen time.
i doubt homelander is gonna die this season since we still have a season 5 coming after this one and the boys will literally lose its purpose without him
@@Spexo I mean butcher probably will be the next villain for season 5 because they will follow up to him killing all supes arc which could lead to his death in season 5
I think it will end with homelander finally breaking because Ryan tries to leave or something and Ryan actually fights and realizes he's almost as strong. Returns to butcher and butcher dies.
I think the whole grand finale of the show will play out as it did in the comics. And I mean like post homelander. They are setting butcher up similarly to the comics with the virus as of now. Hughie was the only one who wasn’t with the boys in the last episode which is also important to think about imo. Also butcher keeps hallucinating Becca and Kessler (think that’s his name) and they are being personified as the angel and devil on his shoulders.
a-train literally had lots of screen time throughout the other seasons with the conflict between him and his brother, the whole rebrand to be more appealing to african american audiences, his girlfriend, the V addiction and his health meltdown heart attack thing lmao he had a lot of sideplots and character development throughout the whole show. he may die since hes kinda redeeming himself rn and i could see him dying before reconsiliating w his brother but i think the probability itll be this season is fairly low
Part of me hopes A Train could go down the Queen Maeve route and live the rest of his life depowered and out of the superhero game but knowing Tek Knight and Sister Sage is in the series now along with Ashley not having as high as a role as she once did I don’t think it will be possible
Saying that A train barely got development in the first three seasons is just incorrect. His relationship with Hughie has always been important. The race in s1 was a huge deal, the vought virtue signaling has been a big plot point for 2 seasons.
Kimiko broke his leg but remember this is with his old heart and while he was jonesing bad for the drug so now that he's clean and has a new heart he'd able to run and dodge Homelander without issue(If they're being honest that is, speedsters wouldn't be able to move that fast if they thought and reacted in normal time), also Huey should have died just by moving around int he vents if he was directly over Homelander, Homelander has super hearing, there is no way he wouldn't have heard someone crawling feet above him.

A train getting his leg broken by kimiko dosent mean he isnt strong or durable she's punched through metal and has the strength to rip off heads and limbs. Not only that but she had a metal crowbar and swung full force at his leg.
Plus he was a v addict then
those kind of vents are galvanised in real life...that is they are plated with zinc...that was the reason why he was not able to see or hear him in the vent...
they should have explained it clrly to avoid this confusion
Also he is loosing his hearing
I'm glad they didn't. I'd rather they not spoon feed me info just because some uninformed person can get maybe not be lost.😂
A-Train has actually saved someone - Hughie, so if he dies in episode 8 without a big sacrificial moment he would still die having saved someone
I think that you are right. A-train is becoming a likeable person.
Also, your theory is a bit wrong, only soilder boy can remove compound v from your body.
No other supe can other than him.
And IMDB doesnt list Soilder Boy this season, so its unlikely of A-train's powers get removed.
I think if he fights homeland just to lose his V it would be kinda lame since same thing basically happened with Maeve
Fake Black Noir will die 100%, A-Train and Deep might die, Ashely might die, and Frenchie/MM will die, maybe Kimiko in place of Frenchie.
I feel like fake noir could be a red herring of sorts, despite sounding the same. Maybe they'll play out that twist from the comics because he's acting a bit too goofy
@@SourceAwareness I know all this
The vent was made of zinc, Homelander can't see through zinc. It was established in season 1
A-Train would explode in impact if he ran into Homelander, let alone punch him.
the vents were galvanized, but it did seem like plot armor
I could see A-Train dying, but to possibly save someone or make a sacrifice as an end to his redemption arc. I hope he at least gets to body some of the 7 before tho. I wanna see more A-Train fight scenes
I think Hughie is A Train’s first save.
Also he didn’t have simple plot armor on the vent, the vent qas actually made out of zinc, the one metal Homelander can’t see through
What i can't see through deep?
Zinc homelander
Something bad is definitely gonna happen to A Train. I do hope they subvert our expectations a bit though.
Maybe Homelander lasers off his legs instead.
Making him live forever in a wheelchair. Making it poetic.
Crowbar: yeah, that boy put all his skill points into speed and NONE into def. What a noob.
Nah he’s pretty tough. He literally no sold a collision with Hughies gf who exploded from how fast he was going and could punch kimiko through a brick wall without even using his speed. The reason his leg broke was because the compound v was making his bones weak
3:44 the reason why Homelander couldn't see Hughie is because his X-Ray vision can't see through zinc, the metal the vents were made out of.
surprisingly well made!!! w vid
I think "Assassination Run" probably refers to Victoria and not homelander
I’ll be sad to see A-train go I know what he did to his gf and Huey’s ex was fxxxxd but he’s grown on me.
Who would win in a fight?
A demigod?
Or
A tube of zinc plated mild steel.?
The plot armor is so strong that it has eliminated the stakes from the show.
The show has become inconsistent with what the rules are, and borderline incoherent in the plot.
YOU CANT STOP THE A TRAIN BABY
It depends if a-train doesn't get caught its a 50/50 chance he lives and escapes or he gets killed by homelander
3:48 for ur point here, the vents were made out of zinc which homelander can’t see through and zinc also makes his laser vision much weaker
It’s possible that A-Train will somehow lose his powers but not die. Since that is what happened to Queen Maeve in Season 4. She did not die (somehow) but she lost all her powers and went to live a normal life
maybe A-Train dies while saving someone.. btw: Kimiko is a Tier-B-list supe
kimiko is definitely not a weak supe, shes equal to old noir, we can use this as evidence that a train can take hits from homelander and survive.
Noir literally put her on her face bro
@@igorKhymynuk-jd9mp after stabbing her multiple times which means she was a threat
@thellamaoffishy9962 she really wasn't, though. He dealt with her within 10 seconds.
This the best prediction I ever seen. I didn't realize they killed off characters on the 8th episode!
Also because she is Hughie's girlfriend, and he has the chance to save Hughie's girlfriend.
kimko did break his leg but that was after his bone density was said to be weakened from the v but i dont know if it still is or isnt
I think it would be poetic if A-Train sacrificed himself like Queen Maeve did in the comics, only instead of trying to protect Starlight, he's trying to protect Hughie.
When we first see A-Train he irreparably changes Hughie's life, the last time we see him, he's just saved his life.
A train actly already saved Hughie from homelander
0:57 A-Train has had loads of screen time what the fuck are you talking about?
Could be Ryan, butcher. I just feel like atrain dying is too predictable because of the similariyto other seasons
A-train offers to bring ashley with him to run away. she declines and takes V
EPIC DUDE BRO IM SUCH A BIG FAN. LIKE, 99 am i right??
A-Train's for sure biting the dust this season. They're not only setting him up as a turncoat, but if not for Ashley he would've straight up died at the end of episode 5.
I feel like he is going to sacrifice himself. The scene where the brother tells him he has never saved anyone and that he is not a hero, proves as you said that he will be saving someone and die in the process
After E5 there's no doubt, they know now what he's done. I'm sad, every time he uses his powers I rewind to see it again.
homelander cant see throuh zinc, which was highlighted multiple times in season 1. vents are lined with zinc
Kimiko is not a low level supe
Crazy how he went from one of the characters I hated the most to actually being concerned for his safety.
Im calling it now, he’s gonna die like how Maeve died in the comic with a beheading
Or Mayby he could get his comic death But it will be the seven and not the boys that kill him
@@munken7673 if they went that route id say it would be pretty lame considering thats what they already did with the news anchor
“Plot armor” instead of holding true world building and weaknesses
I can see a train sacrifice himself saving hugie like push him away from homlanders eye blast
they might do a quick silver parody from mcu
i must be dreaming if i heard this dude say kimikos a low level supe☠️
If he were to die I feel like the best way would be if Homelander went after his family after discovering he was the leak with A-Train sacrificing himself to save them. That way he has a heroic death and redeems himself to his brother, he has done too much messed up stuff to get away clean like Maeve
Frenchie dying honestly wouldn't be big enough of a death for the finale. He's been uninterested and useless for a while now, to the point where I'm dreading the time he's on screen taking away from other characters screen time.
Homelander will die, Ashley might as well, butcher become a villain these are just my thoughts
i doubt homelander is gonna die this season since we still have a season 5 coming after this one and the boys will literally lose its purpose without him
@@Spexo I mean butcher probably will be the next villain for season 5 because they will follow up to him killing all supes arc which could lead to his death in season 5
That's for next season
I’d say the air vent scene was less plot armor and more of Homelanders incompetence.
2:00 u forgot to think about him dosed up on V
a-train literally had lots of screen time throughout the other seasons with the conflict between him and his brother, the whole rebrand to be more appealing to african american audiences, his girlfriend, the V addiction and his health meltdown heart attack thing lmao he had a lot of sideplots and character development throughout the whole show. he may die since hes kinda redeeming himself rn and i could see him dying before reconsiliating w his brother but i think the probability itll be this season is fairly low
Part of me hopes A Train could go down the Queen Maeve route and live the rest of his life depowered and out of the superhero game but knowing Tek Knight and Sister Sage is in the series now along with Ashley not having as high as a role as she once did I don’t think it will be possible
I think that the final episode Assassination run will show Homelander killing everyone at Vought but keeping A Train alive
It would be quite poetic if in the fight he succeds in the job but homelander lasers his legs off, so he ends up like his brother.
at this point I feel like butcher might be the only one who can survive, bro is literally immortal💀
Of course he is, it's a horror movie and he's the minority.
Always bringing up race I swear people just need to start seeing people as people and not race.
@@raphaomesmin5826chill bro, pretty sure, he’s joking 😂
@@taawesome2949 it is a joke 🤣
Kimiko only broke his leg that easily because the V was making his bones weak
Frenchie might die if not A train
Episode 8 title could also refer to a presidential run, hinting at Neumans death
a member of the 7 also died in every season. Translucent, Stormfront, Black Noir... who will it be this year?
Ventilation units are made with zinc. Homeland can’t see through zinc.
If he does go out, maybe homelander does home in or he sacrifices himself.
wasn't the vent scene like this because they wanted to show how homelander has trouble with vision because he gets old?
kimiko is strong as balls and she hit his leg from an angle
Maybe Hugies dad filled in the major character death cause he had a good chunk of screen time. I dont think is very likely tho
Saying that A train barely got development in the first three seasons is just incorrect.
His relationship with Hughie has always been important. The race in s1 was a huge deal, the vought virtue signaling has been a big plot point for 2 seasons.
Kimiko broke his leg but remember this is with his old heart and while he was jonesing bad for the drug so now that he's clean and has a new heart he'd able to run and dodge Homelander without issue(If they're being honest that is, speedsters wouldn't be able to move that fast if they thought and reacted in normal time), also Huey should have died just by moving around int he vents if he was directly over Homelander, Homelander has super hearing, there is no way he wouldn't have heard someone crawling feet above him.
we gotta get the A-train homelander chase scene
what if he got infected by the virus and did an "assassination run" into homelander to spread the virus into him
