Just in time for Pixar Fest, the Pixar Play Parade returns to Disneyland Resort-- now at the original Disneyland theme park with new floats featuring characters from "Up," "Inside Out," and the famous Pixar short "Luxo Jr."

I wish they could of added Coco float. I love Coco it is the best Pixar movie right next to Toy Story 3. :) Overall, I love the new floats of the Luxo Lamp, Inside Out, and Up.

Looks great! But sad it's missing so many movies :( Coco? Wall-e? Ratatoullie? Cars? Good dinosaur? Also, it would've been cute to have Boo with the monster's inc float and Dash with the Incredible's
Cars WAS in the original incarnation of this parade (when it was over at DCA), but since they only have one set of Cars (which also happen to be the ones they use for meet n’ greets) they decided to not include them.
This looks so cool; I wish Disney had this at Disney World .

I think that Disneyland Resort has been much better in terms of parades (Soundsational parade was one of the most fabulous of all)
I haven't seen this in Years!
It is nice of them to bring luxo back for this though because he was retired.

2005WhiteSoxRule they had one. Sane music, it stopped performances in 2014 I think
Lol why do the floats in the Disney Magic Kingdom game look better than these??? The Inside Out one is really cute though and I love Crush so the Nemo one is ok in my book...

When this comes back to DCA after Pixar Feat is over, I think they should replace the Pixar fest logo with the play parade logo

Eeeeh. It's nice. But feels kinda' dated.... Fave parade to date is still Paint the Night.

Okay so, they had a monster’s university segment, one of the most forgettable Pixar movies, but not a Coco segment? I’m offended.

What happened to the one float that squirted water at people? I loved that one
Max Musto A few of these floats were squirting water at us.
Some of the floats still shoot water, like the Incredibles float and the Toy Story float.
My only complaint is that it is too bright outside for the leading light lamppost to work properly on the ball. Concept art is very misleading on that.
I don't know what it is about Disney's parade music, but it always seems to sound like they somehow are stuck in an 80's/90's mode...and I have no problems with that!

The floats just look old and tired and the new additions just lack creativity. it pales in comparison to the new parade at tokyo disney even the parade at magic kingdom.

Also it was written by the High School Musical song writers, it was written for the parade and is called “countdown to fun” there are 2 versions of the song, the play parade version and the waterworks version

Mycah Caranza Coco is too new of a movie, these plans were made well over a year ago, before they even knew if Coco was going to be successful or not
They still included it in the fireworks show, so now what's the excuse?
Eri Pena ... obviously you have no idea how long it takes to create an design parade floats. It’s much easier to add something to a firework/projection show since the movie is already made.
