@@itsallrobbish I took the 1.6 and the 1.5 vtec out for a test drive. The 1.6 is just not for me. So either I'll be getting an older Honda accord 2014 with the 177bhp engine or the 178bhp turbo petrol. The petrol is far nicer to drive.
+marciboy66 i dont know, its just seems fast for 120 hp, i think its downhill a bit. for this high speed. i had a 300 hp car and my maximum high speed is 270... the acceleration is more brutal of course but when i saw it a year ago i cant imagine thats a 1.6 simple car... bye
@@alexhickey5633It's practical if you drive use it for long trips daily. Short trips will make problems. I took 1.8Ivtec which takes 6-7 liters combined. Short trips are no issue for engine and repair costs equals with petrol if something goes wrong.

+efekok nah shouldn´t be a proble. my dad´s 2.2 Dtec (Honda Accord Tourer) sounds nearly the same..the engine now has 100.000km, and runs like day one. (And fun to drive :) 350nm torque at around 2000rpm...turbo kicks in at 2300rpm)
I said I’d never go diesel after issues with a 2.0tdi Audi A3......awful car, but this unit is sweet for a Joe average vehicle. If they made a 3.0 litre version, you’d agree.

I own one (2013) with 150,000kms on it and 3 years old. It drives beautifully and I love it. 1000kms to a tank and I can only put 45 litres in.

I bought the 1.6 civic recently. Plenty of guts to it. And unlike the 2.2, most mechanics where i live will work on it
