Kambal is underrated and his coat is immaculate
He does have a pretty fly coat.
So much is going to change after rotation. Really curious what a world without Wondering Hag will be like in Standard

Good games brother! Feel like you got a lil lucky against the red decks, but we take those lol. Half of magic is just giving your opponent the opportunity to mis-play on ladder lol
I finish so many games at 1 or 2 life against Mono Red that I assume there's always some level of that. Though, this deck has a fair amount of early spot removal and life gain and that's often enough to dela with the flyers, then just gum up the board.
So excited for Kumano to rotate 🙃
Song of Totentanz could be a better fit for this deck? Your opponent doesn't get creatures and it's easier to cast.
That's the thing though, it's a finisher just the same because the creatures you make have menace, but you get guys that can block, AND you get double counters if you have Kambal.

God dammit, man, you make a deck with one of my favorite OTJ cards and I dont have the wildcards for like half these cards 😅😂

Over time, you'll get enough. Also, some cards like Wedding Announcement and Wandering Emperor rotate in about 6 weeks.
I've been trying something similar, but my version's closer to a Boros Convoke shell, with Voldaren Epicture, Novice Inspector, and Gleeful Demolition as token makers. I completely missed Eiganjo Uprising when building; it's looks fun, but probably not fun enough to be worth wildcards this close to rotation. (Speaking of fun, Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines goes crazy in this deck...if you can actually get her to stick, which doesn't happen often.)
You don't need here in there. That's just more style points than actual functionality. But if you're going to those lengths to play the other cards, you might as well go all in on Boros Tokens and give yourself the chance to high roll some games.
M running that guy in my Jan Jansen deck (Mardu treasures/servos tokens) and he's amazing. Glad to see a standard deck for him! Seems very strong if you can go into explorer or pioneer and use more things that gives tokens to your opponents. I'm thinking of Clackbridge Troll, removal that exiles a target creature and all cards with the same name, then makes that many clues, and so on and on.
I think the problem is that there are just faster and more powerful things to do in explorer at the moment.

Make some rotation proof decks!
You know this one basically is, right? Wedding Announcement and Wandering Emperor are the only things really leaving this list.
And the Mono Green deck from the day before only loses 2x Kodama and 3x Ulvenwald which can be replaced witha pile of things.
The plot deck from 4 videos back is basically all new cards already.
So other than swapping a few lands, several decks are basically already rotation ready.
