  • The video is to address #diagnostictroublecode (DTC) P0340 which is a Camshaft Position Sensor for the Nissan Vg33e engine. The #camshaft #positions #sensor looks at the camshaft angle to determine when the intake valve is open or close. When the Intake valve is to be open, the camshaft position sensor signal the Computer(ECU) to operate the fuel injector for that cylinder intake valve, by spraying fuel into the combustion chamber. All the calibration for intake valve fuel cycle and valves close to detonating spark for power stroke timing. The camshaft position sensor signal piston position is reference to camshaft angle position. Since the Camshaft Position Sensor is located in the ignition Distributor, the video detail show how to remove the ignition Distributor and replace it with a brand new genuine Nissan dealer Part. The new distributor perfect ignition timing spark set for normal engine startup and drive sequence. Once the Camshaft Position Sensor begin to fail. the driver, operator will experience, the starter fighting with crankshaft faceplate flywheel, while trying to start the Engine sometimes. The engine will not start like normally should. Excessive key cranking are signs of partially fail CAM sensor. Engine stalling with difficulty starting are all signs. Not start when engine is hot.
