Nice trackball. We need that for our iiRcades!
There's definitely a market for good trackballs. Hopefully this becomes a standalone offering. 👾
Now I just need the Coke/Pepsi challenge with GRS/Ultimark
Have you had a chance to mess with the new RetroTINK-5X Pro? Sure looks like we can finally build a classic arcade machine maybe running a Mister with a RetroTINK-5X Pro and get that near perfect REAL. CRT experience on our LCD without no longer having to have a big super heavy CRTs! I have to say its impressive!
Always appreciate your accessories, Glen. I have many of them and will definitely buy one of these to put in my A1up Goldon Tee XL once they are available seperately. I guess I will have to wait until New Wave Toys sells out of their new Golden Tee, lol.
Need this for the ATGames Gamer Pro and Ultimate. 👍
That new trackball looks impressive, Glen. Nicely done!
Looks great. Excited to get the NWT control panel. Hopefully you'll release this as a stand-alone trackball as well.
;)
GRS has big balls! Love it😁
😅😅😅
Thanks for showing off the new 3" track ball!
😊
When you said you not good at most of the games. That’s the beauty of arcade games, you don’t have to be good to have fun. Let the nerds have the console games to be good at that. 😂
Then that's good lol 😁
Awesome longest drive, congrats with this, nice DK in background
Thanks! DK rules :) ..well in a bad anyway lol
Looks like an old Betson Imperial trackball from 15-20 years ago and what XArcade Tankstick uses today but unknown who is the manufacturer of bulky sealed low lip cases. Ultimarc uses thick lip case for 3/4" wood panels. The Industry standard is the Atari/Happ square/diagonal angular design with a low lip case, and open to see the optical pin-wheels spin. All model either provide a dual quadrature output or feed into a built-in micro-controller to provide PS/2 or USB port inputs similar to a wired mouse.
X-Arcade does use our trackball 🖲️ and spinner tech ;)
@@GlensRetroShow I got lucky during 2020 Covid late summer time. Through A-maz-on Can 3" Happ style TB for $66.50 CAD and all in $93.46 CAD. It flew fed ex from Indianapolis to Toronto from Holland computers. Great deal at the time, year later everything was over $150 from china. I did my own controller for dual Quadrature inputs plus a RGB light show. Hope you can scrape together a great deal for other gamers - Game On.
Awesome Glen!
Pretty much the same trackball that's on my XArcade Tankstick. 👍
Glen,
Yeah, I preordered the bundle day one from New Wave Toys. I don't currently have good way to play Golden Tee at home and have been waiting for something like this to come out. I should've known Glen and Shiloh would be the guys to do it.
I'm glad you didn't demo this installed in the iiRcade itself as I think the range of motion is too shallow to the monitor. Heck, even Arcade1Up's newest Golden Tee Deluxe has issues where you can easily smack your fingers into the screen. I think the solution you and New Wave Toys came up with is the perfect combination.
But this has got me to wondering... I know you may not be able to answer this question, but I wanted to pose it anyway. When I saw the New Wave Toys announcement, I INSTANTLY thought of the modularity possibility. What if New Wave Toys can partner with Incredible Technologies to port even more of their games? I buy a Glen's Trackball Control Deck, and then New Wave Toys announces a Silver Strike Bowling Replicade. They offer a new Glen's Trackball Control Deck with the Silver Strike branding, but if you already own the Glen's Golden Tee Trackball, you can opt just to buy the new New Wave Toys Silver Strike Replicade and use your existing Golden Tee Trackball instead of having to buy the additional Glen Silver Strike one. So my question is, have you and New Wave Toys pondered this possibility?
Thanks for showing off the new Trackball Glen! I can't wait to get it and the New Wave Toys Replicade!
vgv
Yeah I was not going to install it in my ultimate control panel. It would be no room for it inside there. Anyway. It's too tightly packed with electronics as it is
And as far as your other question 🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐
Great video Glen!
❤🏁Winning
Cool device. It would definitely be useful for a handful of games. Am I understanding you correctly that you plan to integrate this new trackball into the GRS control panels in the future?
For now it's for NWT, but in the future .. yes
bigger = better
That's what she said 🤣
Please Glen! For the love of God! Sell that deck separately after you get the launch over with. I've been looking for something like that for a setup in Asia. Really looking g for one of these out here. Would love the whole deck but at least the trackball.
How does it compare to an actual arcade trackball, is it better? What's the difference please?
.ohhhh stay tuned ........
@@GlensRetroShow I most certainly will my man! Good luck with the launch
Glen, when will you release an led trackball for the Arcade1up Golden Tee XL and Centipede legacy cabs?
It's been looked at .but nothing concrete yet
@@GlensRetroShow thanks for the reply and please make it concrete. I need these in my life.
Is the new Golden Tee Replicade compatible with non-NWT trackball control panels, like the Legends Gamer Pro trackball?
I can't say for sure ..but the interface is USB ;)
Is that the same as the one in as in the X-arcade? Another question, if i get an old Supertank stick, i guess that is not your Trackball? Is their old one any good? Still 3"?
Do you sell one for A1Up gen 1 GT?
Not currently
What is the best trackball to get for the original Arcade 1up Centipede machine? I got the spinner when it came out for the Tempest machine and it is night and day better. I'm hoping to improve the trackball in the Centipede machine as well.
My v2 led trackball 🖲️ was made for that unit :)
