      @@ohEuroz there’s a forum post from ZFG that actually describes how even the octane specific tune has the ability to adjust to different fuel octanes and e30 ! I’m on e30 with his 93 performance tune

    How many revisions and data logging did you have to do to get the final tune for stock set up? Just received tune after rev01 and supposed do my second revision or data logging but was just wondering how many times it takes? Only have a stock 20 ST.

    Do you know if the tune voids the warranty? My dealer said it wouldn’t, but didn’t seem to confident. just seems like it would to me.

    • @mark-ui8lu
      @mark-ui8lu Před 5 měsíci

      Any tune will void the warranty if it’s deemed the affected parts are from the tune which is easy to do. You really think it’s fair to the manufacturer to cover a failure that was from a tuning company that uses tuning software that is not theirs and from a tuner with an unknown skill level???. Nope

    • @tcr2237
      @tcr2237 Před 4 měsíci

      Ya, dealers also promise anything they can to get you to buy the car. My 23’ ST has wireless CarPlay… I just needed to download the ford pass app and it would work. The GM at the dealer said that. I knew it wouldn’t work and laughed and said show me… it didn’t!
      I’m getting the ford performance tune and sticking with that for now. Keep that warranty in place. But damn, do I love watching these tuned out ST Explorers kick some ass.

    Tuning a bone stock NA vehicle is a complete waste of time and money? Forced induction is not? Got a tune on my bone stock 01' Lightning was worth 50 HP, then with a smaller blower pulley, added 3-5 more pounds of boost? 430 plus on a 5400 pound truck is not much, but it was nice? Would love to get a ST anything?
