My heart lives inside an 03 4.6l 4x4 f150 and it’s a year to old for good tuners. Coyote swap someday. Sickest tuner I’ve seen for ease of use and complexity. Soooooooo nice.
I'm a big fan of V6 engines. All that new American and Japanese equibus engines are just as powerful as v. H, depending on how you're using it. What you're using it for someone. Some of the best six cylinder engines are from porsche. Chevy and Ford and Chrysler do make good 6 cylinder engines. Not knocking say anything bad about 6 cylinders. I like them sometimes just as much as V8's. The pin down in your purpose, what you're using it for yes, nothing to beat a big V8 for a drag race, but in general, 6 million engines have been around just as long and are good use, you can get a lot out of it, horsepower wise. Someone that does not need a lot of horsepower like a 1000 horsepower. I would like to just have a 6 Engine. modify that and it could be a sleeper. Even 4 cylinders are pretty fast for what they are. What it's I want to use this for. Hot rotting could be in different forms.
Intercooler and e50 will surpass 500whp. With HPFP you can go up to e60 but gains will be minimal as limitations at that point are turbos and injectors.
Intercooler, intake, dp, 3in cat back, catch can- goosetuned on 91 acn 440 whp 470 tq. An e40 tune with the same mods would put me at 505-520whp and about 525-540tq. Fuel pump and injectors are only necessary if your pushing beyond that with e60-85 which you might aswell do turbos aswell that will put down 700-750whp.

@@jaimeteran4213they are efficient but this version is not built for abuse and shifts odd. Needs fluid/filter changes at 60k miles if not sooner. A good tune (ZFG) will get your transmission running great
We used the dyno to showcase the gains seen with COBB's preloaded tunes, it is not a necessity. All you would have to do is purchase the Accessport, plug it in, and select the preloaded tune to see similar results.
@@rossmarlin4947 These tunes are preloaded from COBB, so they will be on the Accessport. In the future, you can download a new tune or a custom tune onto your computer and upload it to the Accessport. Implementing it into the vehicle is done through the OBD II Port via the Accessport.

Man I love the capability of the device I just wish it didn’t look like a PDA from 2003

A HPFP, DPs and E50 will get you over 500hp on the Dyno. These engines are really strong. It’s the transmissions that are the weak Point.

OK what does it put down in awd stock and with the tune what are the gains
Access port stuck in early 2000's they really need to update it badly
I bet it has the OG Nokia sound in it
Did anyone that was used Cobb tuning after installing did you get the wrench light on and can’t change between driving modes
Do I need a Dyno to get the extra horsepower or just install the custom tuner into the car with 93 Octane

Can I just take it out of the box and plug into the car or do I need a computer to download the custom tune ?
