You and your family live by a perfect example of how LEGO brings everyone together. The bond is strong. Bud is definitely a legend. It's always interesting to see what he is able to find for you.
I love this story of how the legendary Budman found this Lego lot. He's definitely someone I would take with to find the Lego deals. Great job. 👍 I feel that $40 was a very fair price for what was in the lot. It's so cool that you got Deb and Bud into Lego. That's like every dudes dream to have the whole family loving Lego. You can make those boat hull pieces look better with some plastic polish. I got some really good stuff off of Amazon called Novus fine scratch remover and plastic clean and shine. You definitely have your work cut out for you but it will make some great content. I think there's videos on how to restore the old sails. I can't wait to see you complete the pirate ship. Great video my friend and kiddos to the Budman!
Love how pumped you were at the beginning. I bet you could not sleep the night before.....sorry it was in such a rough shape. But still I can see the thrill of the chase.
Look at that face, Greg! Clean as a whistle! Enjoying the content and those livestreams. Sorry I haven't made it on recently. All the best. Nick, Hayley and Harry
I would say you got a fair deal on this. I mean sure its gonna take some work to clean up the pieces and the sails of the ship. But once its all said and done you'll have a nice vintage set and some nice figures to go along with it. You might even have another complete set in there and not realize it. Assuming all the pieces for the ship are there.
i enjoyed the story. Still pretty cool. Agreed with the father-in-law. You gave him the low down. I think it was a FAIR deal. I would've only offered only $30. As for the video log: $40 Dirty Vintage LEGO. Time spend with Father-in-Law = "Priceless"
Yeah i would feel so bad if i had to tell someone it wasn’t worth the asking price, but its the kind of thing you get over pretty quickly, i also remember really wanting the red beard runner set in 2014 from seeing it in “the lego book” but i knew it was way before my time in collecting
Cleaning lego: 5 gal bucket filled half way with lego Fill bucket with hot soapy water unitl lego is barely covered Boil one large pot of water dumpin boiling water into 5gal bucket with lego and soapy water Let sit for one day soaking Rinse Let lego air dry on towels
I recently got a massive box like this for free. A tonne of work sorting and cleaning it all. I personally don’t mind faded pieces, gives more colour options!
I agree that some used toys should be “played with” but it’s better when they’re used and not damaged or if they got dirty To get cleaned If they’re resold they could’ve been cleaned
As a fellow Fisher person your father-in-law is a great batter . how can u put a price on the memories you ll be able to make with clark. I m thinking he used a worm and bobber with guy.😊
I gotine recently from a guy who probably eats with dirty hands while playing Lego... It's a retired set.. 🙄 now I feel like I need to do some washing...
$40 isn’t much of a waste If you did 50-100 or more yeaaa But no it was good You can clean some pieces perfectly and some in hydrogen peroxide with sunlight
IT was certainly worth 75 dollars. Counting all the sets in there. And the worth if some pieces alone, are hundreds dollars worth. You are a salesman, you can certainly haggle up the price !
UPDATE: Here is my video showing everything after I sorted it all: czcams.com/video/MUWY-t1GNqA/video.html
please give me lego 300 pcs
20. people
Thanks

$40 I would say fair. It’s the Lego u get really cheap that spoils fair pricing I believe. How much are the sail mast’s worth individually?
I want to hear the story behind Clark getting some cheese puffs
Greg, what are you on about? Those sails alone are worth $40.
Yeah, and if the compass is in there, that's worth 15 bucks, and those minifigs are expensive too. Nice haul, nice video!
Really? That’s amazing. Hopefully I can clean them up to get them looking new again.
Lowest on bricklink for the ship is 250. That’s incomplete.
Everything you said is completely true and $40 is fair. There’s so many man hours of work there. Time is money too.
Love how pumped you were at the beginning. I bet you could not sleep the night before.....sorry it was in such a rough shape. But still I can see the thrill of the chase.

$40 Dirty Vintage LEGO.
Time spend with Father-in-Law
= "Priceless"
LEGO vintage lego is worth my entire tv LOL
:O pirate ship is so cool
Been waiting for this since the podcast
The hype was built!
Greg, try using a salad spinner to help with the cleaning.
That was definitely worth 75, you got red beards runner with the sails plus all those vintage mini figs.
Yeah i would feel so bad if i had to tell someone it wasn’t worth the asking price, but its the kind of thing you get over pretty quickly, i also remember really wanting the red beard runner set in 2014 from seeing it in “the lego book” but i knew it was way before my time in collecting

Great deal a little pricey but it’s a classic pirate ship
I recently got a massive box like this for free. A tonne of work sorting and cleaning it all. I personally don’t mind faded pieces, gives more colour options!
The boat alone is worth it
great value

To get cleaned
If they’re resold they could’ve been cleaned
hmm, that's a lot of cleaning. I'd say cool if you can make the ship happen. :) - k & b
I say it is pretty fair
Red Beard Runner 6289 goes for $300 on bricklink in used condition
I love ur channel
I think it’s was “great deal” tbh like even just the minifingers are great and also some good pieces in general
Greg here is how to dust your dusty lego use a paint brush and brush the entire set
Great deal
It is easily worth 75 but 40! those sails and hulls are easily 75 dollars on their own.
As a fellow Fisher person your father-in-law is a great batter . how can u put a price on the memories you ll be able to make with clark. I m thinking he used a worm and bobber with guy.😊
