- Here's an unboxing of The Rugrats Movie on DVD. I picked this up just because I could tell it was new-old stock and I wanted to share how the older printings of this look. I'm not sure how long I will keep it since I have this on blu-ray, but it's cool to have for a while. I really like the artwork on it.
I have that release on the "Rugrats: 3 Movie Collection". Again, for an early DVD release at the time, it was near bare-bones with a lousy "CatDog" short and a Theatrical Trailer. Plus, it was in non-anamorphic widescreen. I would love to get the Blu-ray as an upgrade.
How is the CatDog short "lousy"?
...and the widescreen print of this film on DVD was recycled from the film's laserdisc. Hense, the 4;3 letterbox format.
That’s the original copy which I hope to yet one day.
I just bought the collection with 1, 2, and 3 from Walmart. Great movies.
I Used to have the 3 Rugrats Movies on VHS Years ago
Happy 24th anniversary to the Rugrats Movie this month on November 20th
I used to have this DVD a long time ago. Now I have it in a triple DVD case with the other two Rugrats movies.
It’s also the same cover for its VHS release
The Rugrats Movie did get released on Blu-ray on March 8, 2022 only as part of the trilogy set. It's not available on Blu-ray separately from the other films.
Thanks j’s , another interesting unboxing. keep the great work.
Such a great movie!
I thought you got this because the price is low and the dvd cover so it makes sense
I thought The Same thing ☺️
I have this dvd I definitely should upgrade to blu-ray soon
This movie’s VHS includes a Catdog bonus short because both things were made in 1998 and this movie was trying to promote that show
The Rugrats Movie is part of my Childhood
I love this movie
Hey, can you do a updated collection of your spongebob DVD’s and Blu Ray’s??
Nice find. They keep giving out gray artwork-less labels, no inserts and eco friendly boxes to reduce costs. Less plastic, less colored ink on the disc label, less paper significantly reduces costs.
I have this disc but I put it inside the trilogy, which had a clear label when WB re-printed it for paramount in 2013 and a gray label when paramount went back to printing it themselves in 2017.
Can you do a Bluey seasons 1 & 2 DVD unboxing?
You don’t like eco-boxes because the cut outs of the recycling logo and color wheel make the DVD case easy to damage?
Was the Nickelodeon Double Feature the very first Rugrats Movie DVD you ever owned or was it the original DVD like this one?
I think a long time ago I may have owned an original copy much like this one.
J - you are such a smart feller. I tell you, how did you know about the rounded corners on the artwork thing? That is mighty impressive. Hopefully one day we can go for a beer and you can tell the story.
I just noticed it a long time ago when DVDs first came out in stores. Disney titles, in particular, also had many rounded corners that gave them a similar look to the clamshell VHS artwork.
A pretty good review on The Rugrats Movie DVD it is an enjoyable and a pretty good movie with a pretty good new character Dill and I enjoyed Winslow's documentary in a short of CatDog.
I have this DVD
I own that dvd in the Nickelodeon 6 movie collection dvd
My disc has the plain gray color, would of been nice if they kept the original artwork for the rugrats movie, same with the spongebob squarepants movie and barnyard
Why haven't you Uploaded a new video Since last Wednesday ? Where are you ? can you please make more videos soon?
I have this DVD.
How come this DVD comes with no subtitles?
How do you find a real one?
I was gonna buy the Blu-Rays, but the lack of disc art made me refused.
Kinda a shame that it doesn't come in an orange case like the VHS counterpart that came out the same day as the DVD.
It's a shame that none of the American Nickelodeon DVDs come in orange cases in general.
@@80sDisneyFan True. Though I do like how "The Spongebob Squarepants Movie" DVD came in a yellow.
One of my first DVDs
One of the first Nickelodeon DVDs.
@@andykishore is it? that's pretty cool
