Hopefully Boating Magazine, which I've subscribed to for many years, will be able to do an in-depth side-by-side performance comparison using identical boats outfitting one with Indmar's EcoJet and the other with a typical/conventional outboard(s) and/or inboard(s). :-) BTW - I can remember outboard manufactures replacing their 30HP lower unit prop drive with a jet drive lower unit and labeling the new combination a 20HP Jet Drive Outboard, which has always had me thinking that jets are less efficient. Even Hinkley is now offering outboards on their Picnic line after decades of offering only Hamilton Jets. Maybe Indmar's setup is a game changer. :-) While I'm wishing for more comparisons, it would also be interesting to see a HydroFin setup added to the Indmar's pontoon test boat. I also think that Indmar should approach manufactures that build boats for wake surfing, which would definitely improve their factor of safety.

in the mustang and mazdaspeed 3 that engine is reliable until it suddenly isn’t then it’s problem after problem,hopefully they did some things to address ford/Mazda’s shortcomings.

Any updates on what tritoon manufacturers are going to have this?
I would like to see 2 of those 300hp turbo 4cyl mounted to a surface drive and installed inside a hi-performance catamaran i.e. Skater, Doug Wright etc.
Anyone know the brand of pontoon they are testing? Only jet pontoon I can find is the Sea Doo one.

So I duck hunt when I pull this out of the river do I just pull the drain plug and park it 10 degree weather? My Mercury sport jet I just fill it up with gas oil hunt all day pull it out leave it hooked up for the next day 10 degree weather can I do the same with this motor and jet set up ?

Unfortunately they won't sell their motor to individuals to repower their boat.
