I'm glad you did this review. I have the same exact guitar you're playing. When I tried it at guitar center 4 years ago.. I was amazed and hooked. I got some $ off because of some scratches. Great little guitar. Nice tone, stays in tune, plays very comfortable and a price you can't beat. I even used it for a song on one of my past CDs. Will use it for another upcoming recording.

I love parlor guitars. I used to have one tuned to Nashville, some call it Angel Hair, tuning (The high E and B string are the same, but the other 4 strings are an octave above normal) that I would usually bring to recording sessions. It was almost always used somewhere.

Problem with these, as I have the Rex burst Dreadnaught, I'm the action is too high, doesn't stay in tune very well. Sounds good though for an all laminate guitar

Can’t you lower the action by lowering the saddle height? Does the guitar have a truss rod?

Any acoustic guitar usually need to adjust the height of saddle....on expensive kind too.

@kalvino67 yes, there is a trus rod. I believe you have to go into the sound hole.
