- In this video I will show you how to make a Queso Dip in the OVEN duplicating the popular Smoked Queso Dip recipes I've done in the past by adding some Smokey Hot Sauce to the recipe! It was a rainy day and I didn't want to try to cook in the rain because of lighting and sound issues it would have caused. This turned out BETTER THAN SMOKED QUESO recipes I've done in the past by doing it inside. Thank you for your support!

MY RECIPE DETAILS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Ingredients Needed (these amounts are what I used for an 11"x13" pan)
- 1 Lb. of cooked ground beef or Taco meat of your choice (I seasoned mine w/salt, pepper, chili powder to taste)
- 1 large or 2 medium chopped Red Onion(s)
- 1 bundle of chopped Cilantro
- 2 Jalapeno Peppers (chopped or diced))
- 16 oz. of mild melting Cheddar (large Velveeta block will work)
- 8 to 12oz. sharp shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 8 to 12oz. shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
- 20 oz. canned diced Tomatoes
- Small can of Green Chile's
- 1-1.5oz. El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Hot Sauce
- DON'T FORGET THE CHIPS!
Directions: (ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE PREPARING ANY FOOD ITEMS!
Spray foil pan with non-stick, add all ingredients as shown except hot sauce, place into pre-heated oven at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-45 minutes (depending on how much ingredients you use) or until melted well and ready for mixing. Remove from oven, add hot sauce, mix well, place back into oven for 35-45 minutes, remove allow to cool for 5 minutes, serve and ENJOY! MAKE SURE you place it into a slow cooker (on keep warm setting) if you're serving it for a game so it stays warm.
