Nice sharing video ❤
Try that JTS airacuda max or standard. 25 . I really think you'll really like it 👍
Try some 78gr. Hollow point boattail slugs shooting around 850 fps. Out of my gauntlet 30sl gives enlarged hole for groupings.
Nice. Have you polished the breech area of the barrel 1/2" in to increase accuracy and slug usage in the rifel yet in that one?
Negative :); I like that plan!
@@TheDollarSportsman Gotcha😀
💡Barrel twist rate and slug size💥 If the slug is too small for the barrel, you're going to keyhole😷
These are pellets, so the skirt is designed to hug the barrel as it flies. But I’d actually really like to find a slug this likes :).
@@TheDollarSportsmanGriffin airgun ammo .30 cal boat tail best accuracy with those!
Don’t get me started on Umarex I sent a origin in three months ago they said there going to replace it but they never have straight rip off
I’ve really enjoyed my products from them :), including this one.
Keyholing 🤔
Big time keyholes. Same thing happens when you shoot an arrow too fast with too stiff or weak of a spline. I think it’s just pushing those pellets waaaay too fast. Need turn that down under 900. At that speed it would stack slugs.
LOL, that what I get for commenting before the end. But yeah. Heavier pellets and definitely tuning it slower.
💡NOPE! It's the twist rate of the barrel💥 That slow speed is just what the followers think that don't know how to think for themselves😔
I just tuned it today for around 912 fps with the super heavy Zan pellets (56 grain); planning to go back out tomorrow and show 1. Better scope, 2. Downtuned speed, and 3. Shooting off a bag :).
@@TheDollarSportsman Sweet, how’s it grouping?
@@catherineharris4746 And that’s an incomplete analysis from the typical troll, who knows about half, and that’s generous, of the reasons projectile flight can be affected. You should have thrown in something about spin drift, or the Coriolis effect, how the pellet comes screaming out of the barrel and the skirt makes it unstable, vrs a slug, maybe an alien or two. Been shooting for over 40 yrs, firearms, archery, and airguns more recently, and although barrel length and twist can affect it, when it comes to airguns, unlike powder burners, you can tune that out of them, by slowing down the projectile, or in the case of shooting a bow with an overdraw and having it cranked up, adjusting the power of the limbs (which slows the arrow down), and or using a different arrow with either a stiffer spline, or one that flexes more.

Flimsy table heavy wind too much speed for pellets
