Billy Squier is another staple in my life and he has many more hits I hope to cover. I also did not know about his blues version of this song. It’s called “Stroke Me Blues”. Good shit!

Hell yeah OG! This takes me back! The first time I heard it I was 6 and I was at a skating rink in my little hometown of Sand Springs, Oklahoma called Rinky Dink! I’d skate singing along having ZERO clue what the song was about. It wasn’t til I got much older that I realized how dirty minded Billy was! I rock this album on the regular. I’ve got it on Original Press Vinyl, CD, and now iTunes. Great job as always OG!

If only Billy had listened to himself and not the record company and director of his video for "Rock Me Tonite", his career would have lasted a solid decade instead of being cut short.

Funny story my friends and I went to Daytona, Florida for spring break my senior year when this album came out. Everybody was to bring their cassette tape collection so we would have plenty of music to listen on the way there and back. Mine was the only cassette we had and that’s because it was already in my tape player in my car. 17 hours there and back of Billy Squire 🤢. Of course back then unless you were around a big city it was nothing but religious stations and country music. Not now days country but twang country🤮we had a great time though.

I just search for covers, acoustic versions, harp guitar, harp or classical versions of songs. I didn't know about Billy's blues version until a week ago!. Mad it took so long to hear that, grateful that I found it.
