I'm just glad the doctors cleared him to play. After that incredibly scary incident where he almost died on the court, I was worried that he'd never be able to touch a basketball again because of doctors' orders. Everything else seems secondary. And after what happened to Hank Gathers and Reggie Lewis, you *know* this panel of doctors wouldn't have cleared him if there was even a shadow of a doubt about him having another cardiac incident.
there is only a select amount of roster spots in the NBA that pay life changing money and kids grind there whole life for just a shot so Bronny getting a spot base off his dad and not his play is lame so you cant compare that to a normal job were someone gets in on a connection they have
Imagine people feeling like Bronny needs nepotism to make it into the league. Anyone that truly knows basketball, knows that he is a beast in the making. His Iq is unmatched.
The second he steps on the court nepotism flies out the window. If he wears an NBA jersey next year it will be because he earned it or at least he showed legitimate potential. I'm not a big fan of LeBron but I wish the kid good luck.
Bronny needs to stay in college 100%. The fact that he declared for the draft is embarrassing. Who the hell would declare for the NBA draft after averaging 4 points, nobody would. He's only gonna get drafted because of his dad
my son isn't going to be making CMO or CEO money without having the right experience.. that's the difference. I agree with your overall argument though
Bronny is a much more talented player than most are acknowledging. People are quick to forget he missed the off-season and almost died as well. It wasn't his fault USC fell apart. He will always be held to the standard of his dad. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was a very solid nba player in a few years.
You know what? What if this young man is a hidden gem? Yes, he has a health scare, but if he gets to the NBA and develops correctly…then what? If I was Bronny, I would’ve taken the chance too!!! I know two people in the NBA now and what they both told me was…if you have a chance to get in the NBA, take the opportunity when it comes available, because you may not get another chance. I think he’s gonna be just fine going to the NBA in my personal opinion.
Some people who have never played basketball or for multiple teams don’t know the importance of being able to play in the right system. USC wasn’t the right system for Bronny! Bronny will have to be aggressive in his play. He can shoot & if he can show consistency with that alone, he will be good!

He realistically should have went back to school proved everybody wrong and get drafted high. Rn his career projection is David Stockton or Scottie pippen jr. Matt the difference is if we use our connections to get you an interview we still had to have the experience or background to be able to use our connections to have the company consider us. There are like 300 players in the nba! He doesn’t deserve to take somebody else’s spot with the best 300 players on earth!
Matt, is this one of your sarcastic parody videos?
Forget nepotism. There are players drafted with his stats EVERY YEAR. Folks only talking because its LeBrons son. People have to realize 1. HE'S NOT GOING IN THE LOTTERY. 2. The nba draft is longer than the lottery. 3. Its not guaranteed he'll be drafted, he will at least go as a free agent.
What’s higher…his gpa or his average rebounds per game?
The guy is literally putting in work and haters like you just won't let him be
Exactly. Not every child dad is LeBron James
Matt make sure you make a video praising Bronny performance today in the NBA draft columbine
Hell every whyte man in America; nepotism!!!!
whyte men dont have the advantage of affirmative action where a certain race gets an advantage and companies forced to hire certain people, even getting into college. Blk men; definition of nepotism
Cap
why does my comments get deleted? What about affirmative action and DEI and forced diversity hires? Blk man in America NEPOTISM
What’s up with you Matt and you’re right this has never happened and this looks bad bc they wouldn’t let other college basketball players with these kind of stats even think about entering the draft.
He got that klutz sports check.
He's a D3 college player without his daddy.
Smh hating, what is this based on?
In sports you earn your spot nothing should be given
Matt this is your worst take you ever made! Your comparisons to people using their connections to get a jobs is no where near the same thing as using his dad to get him a friggin nba roster spot! There are only 300 nba players who get nba roster spots! Only 60 hardworking kids each year get drafted! He is taking dreams away from other young men who deserve it! NBA is the elite of the elite! What you are saying some dude who barely graduated from medical school could get a job as a heart surgeon above a bunch of doctors that deserve it all bc their dad is the head of all the heart surgeon! Such a terrible not well thought out video! And you say he’s a 3 and D guy? He played mediocre defense in college, he shot terribly from the field open or not, and he is way, way, way undersized for a mediocre athlete that doesn’t do anything great! Cmon man
The difference here with nepotism is that you can be trained to be good at that job. In the NBA you either got it or you don’t . The media hypes up bronny to be worthy of a draft pick based on his skills not his dad. Reality of it is bronny in any other circumstance wouldn’t even be worthy of a summer league spot yet people act like bronny is a first round pick
Matt the combine literally said he’s 6’1 so how are we haters for saying the truth
Bronny's game is gonna be like "Victor Oladipo pre-injuries"
This is the 2017 Lonzo-Lavar situation on meth
Need that agiye hall video
Also, a lot of companies, organizations, and government agencies have rules against nepotism.
You must not know of Thanasis Antetokounmpo 🤣
😂Yet he still set for life in financially
We don’t like thanasis either lmfao that’s the point
@@notreallyafamousartist695 Matt doesn't mention Thanasis in his video, who's a perfect example of nepotism or even Michael Porter Jr's brothers (both the gambler and the DUI brother).

Do yall research on Peyton Watson for the Nuggets, bro had worse college stats than bronny & still got drafted first round🤷

No one with this kids numbers aren’t even close to being either drafted or signing any contract!!
Ridiculous… 6’1 can’t shoot, can’t pass, his numbers were horrible last year at USC. All because Daddy is who he is.
Bronny was still a 5 star recruit so if he is undrafted they will give him a chance based on that
Lebron isnt giving him a job this isnt nepotism
yea he is lmao people are signing him because of his dad not be cause of his plau
@@brutalasbucs9719Lebron would have to be the one to give them the job for it to be nepotism
@@jeromenewsome2596 true indirectly! He also cultivated his own fanbase so credit for that but we can agree his play on the court is not the reason right?
He was the 2nd best shooter in the combine drills last night. Those damn nepotism rims made him shoot 19/25.
The NBA does love athletes but Bronny is more about bringing in 💰 💰. He may one day be a starter, I doubt it but regardless, the team that picks him are likely to get his dad and that’s a cash cow!
Those little 4ppg on 31% FG will definitely transition to the highest level of basketball.
Sports a full blown circus at this point
Just listening to this take i can tell matt never watched this man play,if he didn’t help usc coming of the bench how is he gonna be a great 6-7 man in the nba
6'4 listed, actually 6'1. I think Jalen Brunson is listed as 6'1, and there is no way he is above 5'9.
Zion Harmon update he just accepted offers to play at seton hall
there is only a select amount of roster spots in the NBA that pay life changing money and kids grind there whole life for just a shot so Bronny getting a spot base off his dad and not his play is lame so you cant compare that to a normal job were someone gets in on a connection they have
Crazy on the draft combine he 6’1.5 lol 😂😂😂 crazy
The deal has been done! Who ever drafts him will be getting Lebron as well. That’s the deal!
The Bill Gates and Fauci oochie got him
You know what? What if this young man is a hidden gem? Yes, he has a health scare, but if he gets to the NBA and develops correctly…then what? If I was Bronny, I would’ve taken the chance too!!! I know two people in the NBA now and what they both told me was…if you have a chance to get in the NBA, take the opportunity when it comes available, because you may not get another chance. I think he’s gonna be just fine going to the NBA in my personal opinion.
I think Bronny would develop into a really good player especially if he can go to Miami and let them develop him.
Some people who have never played basketball or for multiple teams don’t know the importance of being able to play in the right system. USC wasn’t the right system for Bronny! Bronny will have to be aggressive in his play. He can shoot & if he can show consistency with that alone, he will be good!
Dwayne Wade’s son is gonna play for the Atlanta Dream so maybe Bronny can join him there?
Shaqs son had like the same stat line in college and what happened when he went to the nba
Kalen Deboer and Alabama will never be good as they were with Nick Saban or any coach at Alabama after Deboer. Not relevant to the video just got a little bit of time on my hands and thought I troll you for a second lol. Love you though Matt love your content keep it up.

@@jeeperskreepers3967 it is Alabama it doesn’t matter who their coach is. You would have to have an extremely bad coach to run a program into the ground. I dont think ryan day that great of a coach but with the brand ohio state has at least maintains them as a top team every year. I think that is much of what kalen will be at alabama just the maintenance man. As far as dominating those days are over for alabama and for any team in the future.
lol these people do realize that 90% of people are where they are now is due to the network and connections they have. Yea continue walking in CandyLand if you really think people are only working hard for everything they got 😂 work smarter not harder
let’s call a spade a spade here. Bronny is not an nba caliber player. He has good vision, defense, and decent spot up shooting. But if that didn’t even translate at the college level it would be foolish to think he would be anything besides a bench player/ g leaguer in this league. He realistically should have went back to school proved everybody wrong and get drafted high. Rn his career projection is David Stockton or Scottie pippen jr. Which means G league for most of his career and probably out of the league in 5-7 years. Sad stuff.
Terrible logic. Essentially, your argument boils down to, well nepotism exists elsewhere, therefore everyone needs to shut up about thus instance of nepotism. Your other point was simply an optics complaint "I do not like the way some people are responding to this situation" this is like a textbook clinic on logical fallacies
Or the fact Lebrun said he wants to play on same team as both his sons in NBA 🤷♂️
Bro we wanna see u react to the nba playoffs!
Matt you have to do a video about Agiye Hall
Bust
A bust is a top pick, not someone projected second round fam smh
What about people who come from a struggling family who really need this opportunity getting looked over by a rich kid who’s production in college says he ain’t ready yet honesty who would draft this kid if you took James off the jersey
Rik Smits had a career because he was tall.. It can work for Bronny too!
If anybody thinks he doesn’t have the skill set for the pro level is tweakin he just doesn’t have as much confidence as his dad
if his dad wasnt lebron this kid would not even be d1 he should be d2d3 at best or low d1. to even compare a regular human job to nba is crazy yea my dad can put me on but some stuff is crazy. these people work they life for this shit to lose an opportunity due to an average player. u gotta be fucked up in the head to think this kid even deserves to be in the draft combine. my boy tyrese radford plays for texas a&m i can promise you bronny cant guard him or score on him and he is trying to make the combine. this is crazy
It's called the NEXT NEGOTIATED CONTRACT OF LEBRON! Especially if Lebron is wanting to play a season or two, maybe more with his Son???
No different than what Prime is doing for his kids.

I am going to be honest I hat LBJ he thinks he knows and owns everything he don't no when to shut up!!!! The only reason he got asked to the combine is because LBJ wants to be the first father son to play in the NBA together!!!!!! Nepotism only bad “certain folks” do it.. i see it everyday, all day. Bron ain’t done a damn thing wrong.
How many players with these numbers are allowed to even do all this pre draft stuff? Zero
Lebron and his 3.5 chips has always been overrated, so no surprise his son is overrated as well
Stats aside Bronny isn’t a good prospect. It’s not his game either not his athleticism. Unfortunately he’s too much of a risk health wise. You can’t play him 28-32 minutes anymore. He’s a max (maybe) 7-10 minutes player due to his heart condition. Oh it’s fixed; sorta they put a band-aid on it and hope it’s going to hold.
Scary stuff unfortunately because his situation is a life or death thing
Unsubscribed. This is nothing more than an infomercial for Bronny. Nevermind the factual inaccuracies (he literally was measured at 6'1 at the combine) but the stretches in logic are ridiculous.
Butt hurt huh 😂😂😂
Bye
Look up TJ Mcconnells height and college numbers as a starter. And then tell me Bronny cant make the nba when he only had 1 year coming off the bench after heart surgery. Man folks just be repeating what they hear on the internet
He averaged 10.8 ppg, 3.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2 steals a game. Bronny averaged 4.8 ppg, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and .8 steals. Bronny’s stats aren’t even half as good as TJ’s and TJ was an average player.
