My home is destroyed DAILY. And every day we start anew. Lot's of work. But wouldn't have it any other way. ( 10 cats 1 dog ) 5 litter boxes. Thank God for a big house.
We all do that. Mine was sprayed by a skunk and she came in the house rubbing it all over and I still couldn't stay upset.

I'm 65 years old when I was young all the adults told me animals don't think , they don't have emotions, everything that they do is a Basic Instinct, bullpucky!. They are not that sweet, for example there was a viral video a year ago that showed two pitbulls tearing a defenceless dog down. I hate them.

I've been a cat person ever since my childhood, but I've also known some Labrador retrievers along the way. Although I'm going to be seventy-one years old in May of 2019, I have never seen anything like this. It's wonderful!

My cats thought the poor dog was one of them only funny looking. They would play with him to almost near exhaustion, every day, for 16 years. BTW Happy belated Birthday, my daughter is a May baby, too.
I am happy to say Im dealing with this experience now. My dog found a kitten and adopted the kitten. It’s hilarious to watch them play. Sometimes the kitten will just pounce on the dog playfully and the dog will either ignore it cause it’s after a walk and she wants a treat or will chase the cat around and the cat loves it. The dog is the boss of the cat but the humans of the house are in charge of the cat but the cat likes to be the boss of the humans so it’s a full circle.

I always wonder about the people that dislike videos like this- do they hate cats? Not like the background music? Think it creates unrealistic expectations for pet behavior? People are so weird sometimes.

Dogs and cats get along fine. I've had dogs over the years and cats. They always got along.
Adorable! When our cat Cookie Cutter Baby passed our dog,Bear Bear, mourned and was depressed for almost a year. Finally had to get another cat, even though I swore no more pets. After Bear Bear passed at the ripe old age of 15 (unheard of for her breed), 2nd cat Moragan, cried and was unconsolable for months....would wrap her paws around Bear Bears blanket bed and just meow.....heartbreaking. so when I hear people say animals are just animals and feel no pain or love or sense of loss I think....how sad....you'll never see or experience total unconditional love .... between 4 legged animals.
That's so sad and heartwarming at the same time.

Agreed. These sweet animal friends feel the whole spectrum of emotion and consciousness. The sad thing is that most people watching this video (no saying you exactly) will go on and continue to eat their meat, eggs, and diary without connecting the dots. How sad. Maybe one day people will get it.

We have a pit-bull husky cross and she's adorable, she has a sweet, gentle personality that's quite captivating. We wouldn't give her up for anything.

we adopted a gentle pittie from the shelter and were very cognizant of incremental introduction to ensure our cats were never at any risk and that the pittie had low prey/chase drive....it's always up to the humans to be cognizant, all dogs are individual, some have chase drive, some have low chase drive and can easily learn that the cat is part of the family and bond with them...high prey drive dogs it would set them up for failure unless they were always monitored to ensure safety tot he cat...in our case, not only did they become friends, they became soulmates, so bonded that each of them even approaches other cats and dogs to rub against them bc they love each other so much...now our pittie loves ALL cats and chihuahuas and our cat loves ALL dogs...bc of their bond to each other was so amazingly sweet......always sleeping on top of each other and so gentle together....we have since gotten a second pittie who also is cat friendly and dog friendly with low chase drive who loves and is gentle with our cats. Beautiful video. Made a page on FB entitled' Boo and Mollie, A Cat and Pitbull Love Story' to share their beautiful bond and to encourage people to adopt shelter cats or dogs bc there are so many wonderful cats and dogs in shelters through no fault of their own

My dog has helped raise many a stray kittens. One of them we kept. A greedy, gray fuzzball he was. Every time he was done eating he would come in my room where my pittie's food bowl was, sniff around, and when he couldn't find anything, would climb into it and just sit down. Staring. Animals are so cute.
So many of us can only DREAM of having a dog and cat that have this much fun together! Awesome!
