A Thorough Tour of Binky's Forever ATC Collection.

- The last time I was a Binky's I recorded a bunch of footage, but never narrated any of it. Since we were back at his place for one of his open houses, I wanted to take the opportunity to walk around and give my thoughts on the machines there.
I've said it before and I'll keep saying it... this is THE BEST collection of ATVs on Earth. The presentation is 2nd to none... the diversity is amazing... and the hospitality can't be beat!

Hey Buddy, thanks again for the tour. I will likely never make it here in person but I enjoy every minute of this collection. Since I sold my last trike I'm not sorry I did, but really appreciate the time and effort this gentleman put into these great mechanical relics. I have moved on to newer Hondas but will always appreciate these.

My first atc was a honda 110, then moved up to a honda 250sx, then a 1986 200x and a honda 350x. Always wanted a 250r but now the prices are stupid high and you cannot insure them and they are not allowed on the trails here in Ontario Canada. Glad that some of these awesome machines are being preserved. Great video!

Cool. I knew it was right in there. I'm definitely ignorant when it comes to anything other than Honda three wheelers. Very cool machines for sure!
I remember when white water canyon in palm springs used to be open to the public and riding down there as a kid on a 70 and a 90 with my parents and we would go to dumont sand dunes and they would have atc wars with 70s using pugile sticks to joust.

Yamaha 225DX was my 1st 3 wheeler . had 85 Honda 250R and 86 Yamaha tri z 250. love the 200X & 350X

I found a 1983 big red with 7 hours on it...completely original...stored inside...yung girl broke her leg on it first drive and it has been in storage sence

Man, I want 1 of every 2-smoker model from ‘85 to 2006 so I can do a massive head to head competition and see which is the best for dunes and desert, which is the best for MX, which is best for XC/Trail riding, and which is the overall most fun to ride.

@@ThisOldTrike well, the LT250R started the pure sport ATV market in 1985. Since that was the only sport quad that year they made LT250R riders run against trikes and they dominated. Not because they had more power, because they had the least power. Riders could just go faster because of stability. The following year Honda released the TRX250R as the answer to the LT. in 1987 Kawasaki released the Tecate 4 and Yamaha came out with the Banshee and Blaster. That is 5 different models right there. Then there are hard to find models and models that came later. Tiger made a few quads for their racers. They are extremely hard to get your hands on though, but they used a Rotax motor. Later in there were other 2-stroke models released like the Gas Gas and Polaris releases the Trail Blazer and the Sport 400 (later was the scrambler 400). So far that’s 9 different quad models and I haven’t even gone into the variations between the years of the quads. On top of all of that, there were aftermarket frames built that gave different geometries as well, on top of the quad kits for different trike models. A true shootout would have to have 1 of each variation of each model. As cool as that shootout would be, it would truly be a logistical nightmare to collect them all for a museum, let alone getting enough of them together for a shootout. It’s a dream of mine, but I wouldn’t know where to start or how to come up with the hundreds of thousands of dollars needed to buy them all... if not millions

You're right! My buddy pointed that out to me as soon as he watched the video... I was on stimulation overload I think!
I've never seen anyone (in the past 20 years at least) with an 87 Big Red - much less an 88 anything. I'd have to educate myself on those but, if we're assuming that Horn Button IS OEM, I would guess it's a Kill Switch from an older gen Honda Dirt Bike.
I'd have to believe the horn is OEM as it's right in the brochure. My 88 from England doesn't have a horn though... very interesting.
@@ThisOldTrike In The UK, I know they allow ATV's for road use in many places (which omg would that be amazing - especially in winter!) so it's not unusual (on modern machines) to see OEM outfitted Horns & even Plate Mounts & turn signals. Oh to live in a Free Country!

According to my google search, the Warrior had 19hp vs. the 350X's 26.6hp. Then factor in the Warrior weighing in at 397 lbs vs. the 350X weighing 320lbs... yeah... they lack in the power department...
