    PN racing test all their motor's kv and timing before releasing to the public, that's why i only use their motors

      Even pn motors have variance. If you noticed it wasn’t that far off 5500.

    Smash ‘em Ken! Great video. RX28 with your tire selection and kit springs/settings work great for SS. Free up the front end will improve the handling!

      Last night showed it to run very well after loosening up the front. We are falling in love with this car… now I just need to learn to drive. Lmao.

    PN makes the lexan roof or window for that Audi ;) I use side cutters and a hobby knife to trim the body when repositioning the side clips. Makes short work of it, and you can see better what you are doing with the material (plus it doesnt make a lot of dust/mess).
    That hit at the end of the straight... OUCH! Whenever I put my car on track, I accept the risks that come with it... If I break, I break...
    I think that GreyHound motor must be the 5500kv that made it into the wrong can/bin...

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  Před 2 lety

      We need to look at the lexan window if we keep this body. And yeah, we know the risks and we accept em as well. I felt bad for how bad the driver felt. I told em it’s no biggy. As for the motor it 100% was a 5500. Said so on the can. Just the box and packaging said 3500

      The car is CRAZY fast... I have to throttle it down to like 50% to handle it well. The crash didnt hurt the chassis thankfully.

    whats the benefit of these electronics vs sensored ?

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  Před rokem +1

      Some argue that you get more power when its sensorless. Sensored motors / esc cause the motor to be more smooth but at the cost of raw power. When running a spec class (where you have to run a specific KV motor) some prefer sensorless as it gets a tad more "umph". When you go to mod, you can run any KV, so you would just run a higher KV motor but sensored so its more smooth and controllable.

    • @MrKillerHobbes
      @MrKillerHobbes Před rokem

      @@TheShopMiniRC So for Rc drifting at this tiny scale id imagine sensored is better too? i have seen some drifters are putting this on thier drift setup too

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  Před rokem +1

      @@MrKillerHobbes i would think sensored would be most preferred on drift as it would give you much smoother throttle control.

  • @shafiqjan1474

    When it comes to "3500" it is all a crapshoot at best.
