I've already started a challenge of drinking 4L per day, and it's been 10 days since I started. I can already see clear differences. My skin is better healthy and glowing, my hair is healthy. I do feel productive this also has me in good moods. The only disadvantage is going to the bathroom frequently for the first few days haha

@@youtubeonyoutube9007 yeah no…would be every day…interrupted sleep every night…that’s like 17 8 ounce glasses a day. That’s 2 glasses per waking hour. No one needs that much water. Your skin and hair may be “glowing”, but the rest of you probably feels like crap.

I've been drinking 3-3.5 litres of water almost every day for over 5 years, and before that I still drank a sufficient amount of water, always have. I can say that (at least as a woman with fluctuating hormones) that I'm still tired at times, low energy and not always very productive. I don't get headaches very often though, I always sleep well (but I did that before too), my skin look young. Drinking water is healthy, but I would recommend to not go over 3.5 litres. And it's definitely not a cure for procrastination. 😅

Great video. We don’t drink enough, plain & simple. 13 years ago, I tried a low calorie diet called 15/21(lose 15 lbs in 3 weeks). The major part is one ounce water per lb body weight. I went from 257 to 243 in 8 days before I quit. Now having been over 300 for 10 years, I’m starting to take better care of myself, and will try increasing my water intake again, but max 5-6 Litres. Better ask your doctor, but for me drinking 3 liters evenly distributed in a specific time daily is not that bad, what more if you do exercise then you can drink more than 3 liters... Any liquid we drink like beverages/juice/coffee must be included in the measurement.

I took a supplement that caused diarrhea and was hit with symptoms of severe dehydration and went into shock. I thought the supplement had done something to me and so did not correct the dehydration straight away. It turned into CHRONIC dehydration and took me over 18 months to correct. It didn't matter how much water and electrolytes I consumed, there was no short term impact. The brain fog and 100 other symptoms is absolutely NO JOKE when chronic. I even had the symptom of doom and gloom. I received no help to correct it because western doctors say chronic dehydration is not a real thing because they only look at the blood instead of the cell and I beg to differ. Absolutely terrible!

Men statistically are shown to be the demographic that has the hardest time keeping up with drinking enough water, especially if sedentary. If sedentary, 3.7 liters is the adequate intake for most men. However, this takes into account water from food as well. Food is made up of typically 50% to 90% water (with meat and fruit being highest). Consider food to be 20% of your intake, meaning that as in the video above you typically only need 3 liters.
