- On June 9, 1985, The John Marshall Law School held its 139th Commencement Exercises at the Chicago Marriott Hotel. The commencement address was offered by Hon. Arthur J. Goldberg, a former Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, longtime member of the Law School's adjunct faculty, and namesake of the Law School's fourth-floor courtroom.
