  • On September 13, 1991, Justice Antonin Scalia of the U.S. Supreme Court visited the Law School at the invitation of Dean Howard T. Markey (LLM 1950) to address an audience of judicial leaders, faculty, students, and other honored guests. In his comments, Justice Scalia stressed the unique value and importance of the U.S. Constitution in creating a national identity based on rights and principles and detailed the extraordinary nature of the figures who wrote it, while also touching on other areas of constitutional interest.
