  • On October 18, 2003, members of the Law School, supported by the financial generosity of G. Grant Dixon (JD 1991) of G. Grant Dixon III Law Office LLC, provided a review and commentary on the past U.S. Supreme Court term and predictions on cases to come before the Court. The event showcased the constitutional law expertise of Professors Timothy P. O'Neill, Michael Seng, Yvette Barksdale, Donald Beschle, Michael Polelle, and Mark Wojcik (JD 1986). Also participating in the event, H. Candace Gorman (JD 1983) offered background and comments on Jones v. R.R. Donnelly & Sons, a racial discrimination case, which she would later argue before the Court on February 24, 2004.
The event, presented as part of reunion weekend, was attended by numerous members of the alumni community, notably Nathan T. Nockin (JD 1938).
