This is really cool, love what you did. I just got a Stone Blue SC and have been looking at collapsible storage units that run close to the width of the bed. Between that and the cargo net it should work well for someone without woodworking tools.

I just used the cargo net that came with the santa cruz. Yes I know not all santa cruzs come with the net.

Love *the wall*. So I tried the net. It worked but love your wall better. Maybe u can market it to Santa Cruz owners. LOL I have my straps in the same cubby as u.

I like your idea. You could also install two quick connect straps and tether the bottom edge of the vertical board to the “D” ring tie down points.

My Cruz came with one very similar that connects to the rails! Have it just pass the trunk opening, great for grocery shopping but can easily removed and stored away.

I made mine out of a piece of 2 x6 and 1/4 in plywood. Made some small wedges to keep it from swinging up from pressure on bottom of vertical piece

  • @ChristianRodriguez-fs3ch

You could try industrial strength velcro to the secure board.

My wife and I saw a Santa Cruz yesterday, looks nice. The color was similar to olive drab, nice looking. Does the board clunk when you hit a bump (railroad tracks)? It might be nice if you could secure it somehow and still make it easy to move when necessary.

Aloha and Good 👍 Afternoon 🔅 Rob. Your project mods came out great. It matches and blends with the colors and the surrounding areas of Santa Cruz. Plus, the concept of your mods is still in the theme of your 💡 ideas. Great video 📼 Rob.🐆🦌🐕🐶🐈
