Fantastic, Bay! I've been experimenting with this, too, using my iPad 2 connected to my MacPro back home (2700 miles away) -- and over a poopy Caribbean DSL connection to boot. Displaying the arrow keys for movement is a must, as is using the camera controls from the viewer (alt-click dragging doesn't work so well, but I haven't tried using a bluetooth keyboard with it yet). I find using Trackpad Mode in Splashtop a lot quicker and more accurate. Thanks for making this, well done!
This is amazing Bay. I was able to log in on my Android-based Nook using Lumiya but it was nowhere near as nice as this.

Great you stopped by, Lynley! Technically, Second Life is not "running" on your iPad when you do this. It is running on your computer, and Splashtop streams it remotely to the iPad. The setup is a bandwidth and resource grabber, but maybe not as much as you think. Give it a try!

Wow I wasn't sure if Splashtop was worth the ten bucks but this is awesome. I run a laptop so I'm assuming your computer has to be on to do this and if so, is it also running on the computer at the same time (so like having two viewers running at once) if so I'm not sure my extremely slow internet could handle them both running at once.

Does the computer have to be running to play?
it won't be on ios or ipados because there in-game purchases + on web page and developers are greedy and don't want to share money with apple from purchases.
