The main reason why I bought it in the first place was to play as Kratos, and goddamn that he did not dissapoint me, he was the character that I played the most because of the way he used all of the abilities he had at that time.

Pretty sure the sorta lore implication is that Aeon the Lizardman devoured his fellow Spartan Kratos. This is why Lizardman's moveset in SCV was similar to Kratos with the dual axes and wings.
Yeah it's very loosely inplied in Aeon's backstory. Either way, yeah SCV Lizardman's moveset did take elements of Kratos moveset. I liked that they did that to keep the feeling of a guest character's moveset in the series.
Woah! Max is finally playing a handheld game since his playthrough of the SFIV 3DS?! Never would have thought he'll be back playing another handheld game! That is awesome! He maybe playing on a PPSSPP emulator, but still, really nice to see him playing a few handheld titles! :D
I think I saw him playing the PSP version of Alpha 3 (best version content wise) fairly recently but it is nice. Portables rarely get exclusive fighting games or bonuses for long but being able to take that experience anywhere is a joy. I hope the Switch does this more.
Ah, I miss this game. I used to spend hours playing this game and having 1,000+ fights in Quick Battle. The graphics look really good for a PSP game with the backgrounds having a lot of detail. I stopped playing this game when my PSP died about a year ago.

The critical finish is all soul gauge you don't need to remove the armor. Forcing them to block and mainly parrying lowers the opponents soul gauge. You did have to watch out for their burst which was down×3 abk, it destroys their armor but prevents critical finishes.
Dante was gonna be in soul Calibur 2 and got pulled for unknown reasons. Thers even a picture of the concept for him in the Devil may cry 3 special edition

I never noticed until Max pointed it out, Aeon and Kratos do have a lot of similar moves! That stomp he does is a dead ringer for the stomp Lizardman does in V. I guess Spartans fight alike. I wonder if that was intentional on the developers part?
Never play this version of the game of my old psp but I did had Metal Gear Solid portable Ops and most definitely Tekken 5 dark Resurrection which was a kick ass game 👍😘🐇
Really was a shame that Kratos never found his way to the console SC games since he did look really good on the PSP (and not many people actually recall that he was on the PSP version). Now though, I don't know it we would still want Greek Kratos or Norse Kratos since both versions have their own flavor of badass.
if Kratos gets white trails on his attacks I think a bloodborne hunter should have red n black ones and like....two different weapon types and like, five outfits exclusive to them that you can mix n match in character customisation.
You really don't need to break off all there armor, in fact breaker there armor restores some of there soul gauge,but hits to the respective area where the armor was broken will do more damage to them, one way you can restore soul gauge quickly is tap down three times and A+B+K to armor eject this will restore soul gauge based on how many armor pieces you had (unless you have no armor then you recover nothing), however this will make your character take more damage due to having no armor (doing this on custom characters leaves pretty much naked except for there underwear, it's kinda funny for some mind games) this last for the whole fight so if you armor eject the first round you are setting yourself at a big disadvantage. Also one thing I like to do is sometimes I put my friend's soul gauge in the red then use a soul crush to critical finish them at the beginning of the next round he finally learned he needed to armor eject, but it was still funny to do.
Personally, I love the concept of Dampierre. A charlatan who uses dishonest tricks and hidden daggers (SO MUCH YES FOR THAT WEAPON.) Just when you think he'll go down just as easily and pathetically as Dan, he reveals that he's already turned the tables with his deception.
Tonglohng I actually ended up beating it too, I was super jealous of the PS3 and 360 getting SCIV and I only had a Wii at the time and had to play that junk. Never again will I go back to being a Nintendo console only gamer.
Dullahaun why did people hate Dampierre in the first place? He's a pretty good "piss-you-off' type of character and hidden blades imo were a pretty cool idea. He will need a redisign if he wants to make it in though
Nah, not really. GOW4 is a new arc compared to the trilogy. This one focuses on Norse Mythology and a new journey with a different universe revolving around Kratos :)

This game did have character endings, but they were all “what if” endings. Hence the title Broken Destiny.
