Anno 1800 is the latest Anno. This is number 5 out of 7 and completely overhauled with the A.R.R.C Mod project calling it Anno 2170.

With A.R.R.C Anno becomes the best game to exist if you ask me, its just amazing
I mean, standard game is pure perfection, but with the mod, you can do all the things you ever wanted to do, but couldn't.

I REALLY REALLY miss this in 1800. Also the need of old goods which are still consumed (but in a lesser rate) by higher states of population. Hope the next Anno game will re-intruduce at least this feature. There is an Anno1800 Mod, which came out in January, which tries to take on this, but you have to build sooooo many more farms, its nearly impossible from the get go. :D

Oil is from underwater islands
Three sources of oil - underwater, on islands and oil platforms.
The first time I ever saw ANNO game it was anno online (it had the cathedral) so I think it was anno 1404. I remember hemp/linen apple and cider and I believe it was in ANNO 1404. Until that time (10 years ago) I have never heard about ANNO game. My first ANNO I bought was ANNO 1800 and I was hooked in minutes and I love that game a lot. But one weird thing is that I cant imagine that I play any other ANNO than ANNO 1800. Other ANNO games simply have some weird game mechanics I hate or it is future game which I hate also. In other words I love ANNO but I enjoy playing ANNO 1800 only :)

Cyberpunk City. Sounds interesting. I like rp. I feel that once u get to a point where ur steamrolling its less interesting to watch. RP gives u more leeway to challenge urself.

2170 = Anno 2070 the fifth Anno game (1800 is the seventh). This is a modded project by a dedicated community ;)
