You might not agree with everything this man says, but it is 100 % that humanity is better off with him, cheers for a prosperous, bright future.

excellent solution - first the choice to not accept money to censor was good. Free speech is democracy. To now find a way to protect brands, so they can have their content matched with non-advertorial content that suits.

Never underestimate the creativity of mankind. AI is a tool. Artist, musicians and others will be able to leverage those tools to create more. We as humans will always be drawn to the genuine music and stories of our fellow human beings over AI generated stuff IMO.

This woke interviewer started right out by saying Elon told everyone to "go fuck themselves." Elon did not say that as a blanket statement to everyone, it was in the context of advertisers as wanting certain speech disallowed. He now has had to explain, again.

I loved the question about whether he was data driven in the context of new products. Seriously, if people who really came up with new stuff did surveys, it will be immediately shot down and ridiculed. That's just how it goes. But that is how everyone is taught to behave because surveys are essentially risk averse. We would have never had the iPhone or a laptop or whatever new things you can think of. People would have just laughed at it. The best question to answer is if you would use it on a regular basis.

I feel that in these seminars, they always end up sending interviewers who, in my view, are very superficial.
Is it just my impression, or do most of these interviews, which usually have very good communication, become somewhat boring when the interviewer seems unprepared or asks very generic questions?
Don't get me wrong. I greatly admire Elon Musk's work and I'm aware of the interviewer's background, but they always seem underprepared.
It would be very interesting to see an interview more from the nerdy side of Elon. Something where public relations don't mask the conversation.

That was a great interview, and that's one way to cover your back side, freedom of speech, everyone deserves to voice their opinion.....
One difference between Tesla Optimus and OpenAi is advertising. Optimus is point blank in your face with optics and versatility. OpenAi is advertising unavailable options, such as the scarlet ai voice. Personally id never go with a company that advertises unavailable options. If their willing to lie in ads their willing to milk you for all they can.
And my final thought is that it's not that people don't understand the technology, minus some of the older age, those that don't get into tech, and 3rd world citizens that have limited access. But most of the concerns people have, especially when living check to check unable to create a savings, investments, or 401k retirement, but mostly it comes down to, if ai takes jobs and their job is in jeopardy how will they make ends meet? How will they afford higher education, and if they never pursued college how can they get caught up with education? Some might need to return to high school education to freshen up. How will they be able to afford a retirement now jobs are taken and employers offer less in a human ai competitive world? How will they afford basic essentials to their spouse and children? The cost of living gets higher, wages stay lower, now jobs are becoming a commodity, retirement is impossible, begging on curbs will increase.
