Sweet Adjeley, your 'cousins' in Jamaica call it rice and peas. One can use more or less peas as desired. Our 'coup de gras is coconut milk, our fluid for steaming the r & p. Add skellion/spring onions and thyme, salt to taste. Serve with pro-

In my country Suriname 🇸🇷 we call it moksi alesi (mixed rice). You can also put coconutmilk and your baked meat in the rice mix

Ah ah this recipe is exactly like one we have in the north with the exception of the coconut oil. It is called GARAWGARAW' served with oil, fresh herbs and seasoning cubes (I am drooling just talking about it 😅)
