Seth did an interview with Gorilla Position where he said that he and Dean were pulled aside by Hunter and asked if they wanted to wait with the heel turn a week or still do it. The choice was theirs alone and they decided to do it that night because of all the emotions already running amokk. The interview is up here on CZcams from a few years back when he and Becky did a live thing with GP and an audience.
Well after he left and debuted in Aew it was exciting and his matches were good aside from the barbed wire bs but then I don't know what happened to him, now his matches are borderline unwatchable
It blows my mind that people still think Roman had cancer. It also blows my mind that it worked so well to trick people into thinking that he's not a mid-card wrestler at best, which he is. The Bloodline wasn't good because of Roman, it was good in spite of him.
WWE basically always ruined Dean Ambrose he was the Mick Foley of The Shield (Seth = Edge/HBK & Roman = Cena/Rock) and Mick Foley was kinda the guy that was always screwed over and given whatever promo. Except Foley just said whatever, whereas Ambrose said nah I’m not playing your games. Funny enough the My Rise story that feels like it’s supposed to be Cody’s story (the women’s version) feels more like Dean Ambrose’s story, at least early on.
Dean Ambrose was pretty immediately my favorite wrestler coming back to watching back in 2016. Dude just had such a real and gruff element to him that was great to watch and cheer for. But yeah....he was constantly handed some of the weirdest and most awful gimmicks...all because Vince McMahon is a maniacal old man with the humor capacity of a toddler.
He is mid, always has been and I'm saying that being from his hometown. A great wrestler(like AJ Styles for example) will have great match with anyone. Jon is only great when he is up against great.
Vince was desperate to get Roman over. Which he wasn't. Vince, who covered up the Snuka murder. Vince. We never heard of the leukemia before, you'll never hear of it again.
Roman himself said he has to live with leukemia for the rest of his life. He takes pills that serve as an alternative to constantly going through chemotherapy.
