I liked it when I got top comment 😎
The whole thing, u did a great job my friend
Todo
my favorite part is when you returned
My favorite part was the shriveled up crispy droid that was still able to crawl
This joint is RIDICULOUSLY high quality. The little details really make it feel like a major production
No cap this is the best brick film i've laid my gaze upon
i was looking for this. its got way more character development than in the entire sequels
Honest facts
IKR!
AND Thats why I Subscribet
This is 100% canon and no one can tell me otherwise
This is 100% the smoothest lego stop motion I've ever seen. You've captured the humour and feel of so many 2000-2010s lego star wars animations. 11/10
Да согласен
Genuinely the best brickfilm I've ever seen. This was insane. I cannot praise this enough. This is the epitome of the genre. Such a cohesive story, incredible set design, creativity, music, story telling, everything was top tier. Consider me blown away
Wow thanks so much!
I’ve been watching these animation for YEARS and I literally cannot fathom the amount of creativity and time required to do this. This is some otherworldly jawn goin on. I love it. Holy cow
The way it is written & animated is almost beyond incredible.
(R.I.P droid parts you had to sacrifice for the animation)
yea
it made me cringe every time... just from the pain...
The burned commando droid made me go AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH
i like to think that he jist used pieces that were already broken for this just so i don't internally bleed from the sheer pain it causes me
It takes a brave man to break his Lego set for a video, it’s takes an even bigger man to break and burn Lego pieces for a video
Everything about this is amazingly high quality. From the camera works to the story-line. This really feels like an official film made from Lego.
Thanks so much! I would love to work with LEGO someday 🙏🏼
@@LeggAnimations
I hope you get to. You definitely deserve it
10:35 "MasterBrick" this has got to be my fav part in this video. The way Anakin looks around like he did nothing.
Haha thanks, glad you caught that detail. Also notice his cell phone provider "AT-AT" *badum tsss*
Hard to believe that we've lived to see another spectacular film from you mate. This was incredibly good and smooth. The high level of detail and creativity you put into this is just out of this world. I hope CZcams's algorithm promotes this masterpiece into the home page for you to gain at least some rewarding return for the countless hours invested into this. Would love to also see a behind the scenes video.
Dear friends, please share this video with your Star Wars and LEGO loving friends!!
“That’s why I’m here”
Thanks so much! I would really like to do a behind the scenes, I took quite a few pics and timelapses and stuff I could probably organize into a video breakdown.
The algorithm is doing as you wanted. I’m here thanks to it. And now I’m subscribed to an underrated channel!
Same 👍
Same
I love obi-wans unimpressed expression through all this. He’s just like “Anakin you BETTER NOT get yourself killed!” While Anakin is fending off all the droids.
It's the same vibe to me as the Attack of the Clones speeder chase where Anakin was just being reckless lol.
This felt like one of those stop motions I watched when I was younger. Seeing all types of clones together was something everyone did back then. This is probably the best quality one I’ve seen
Thanks man!
I respect the amount of pieces that were broken for this art
Incredible attention to detail, storytelling, humor, craftsmanship, and set design! I’m floored. I laughed, I cried. Amazing job!
Heehee thankgoooo ❤
Is there a Legg connection here?
@@mechwarrior7278 my sis 😁
@@LeggAnimations That's wholesome. My sis doesn't care about the work I go through to publish alternate scenes on my channel. It's weeks of work 😳 Glad you got a sis that seems to care about something you do 😂
This really gives off the classic Star Wars brick film vibes, on top of beautifully smooth animation, funny sight gags, a dash of dark humour, set designs, and that ending where it goes back to Revenge of the Sith! I love it!
No matter how famous this animation gets it will never be enough for its quality
Absolutely loved the connection to Revenge of the Sith at the end there. I wouldn't have recognized the planet otherwise. The effort put into this stop motion was incredible, must've taken a really long time. Great job 👍
Thanks so much for the feedback, glad you liked it!
This animation is amazing! So well done with incredible attention to detail. The way you’re able to tell a story out of some Lego bricks is so cool! I felt a whole wave of emotions watching this. I think you’re one of the best animators on CZcams. Bravo!! 🎉🎉🎉
Super impressive stuff man
Yo tierzoo!
That was cool!
Did you catch the post-credits scene? 👀 it was my initial inspiration for this story!
THIS IS AMAZING YOU DESERVE WAY BETTER!!! what fps did you use btw??
@@thesinisterpotato1708 Thanks! I shot 24fps
HOLY SHMUCK YOUR AMAZING
@@LeggAnimations Ohh that's why it looks so smooth!!
After 4 years, the legend returns to bring us this gem. Worth the wait.
Every aspect of this production is shockingly well done.
I appreciate it ⚡️
5:40 plot twist: obi-wans accountant
The animation is so smooth. The comedy is perfect with a great touch of emotion. The small details and techniques in the visuals put your true mastery of your work on full display. I watched Storm Trippin every day a few years back, and I know I’ll be coming back to this one a lot too. Bravo!
There's something very satisfying and smooth about the animation in this one, nice stuff! Also like all of the little non-LEGO details like the wires sticking out from the destroyed table and all of the cuts in the pieces when they interact with anything sharp.
Thanks for that feedback, I'm happy you appreciated those details
@@LeggAnimations You're welcome, good to see another video from you.
Honestly the thumbnail doesn't do this video justice. There is only one word that describes this type of production and I mention it every time I see something of high quality: masterpiece. Everything was well done: the beginning, middle and end of the story, its tone and style, without forgetting the message at the end. It even seemed like one of the shorts that I love so much made by the same people from LEGO. Thanks for this pearl, new subscriber. ✌🏻
Thanks for all your kind words Carlos!
2:52
HE WAS SO CLOSE TO RETIREMENT LOL
2:49. Mans pulled of off a Captain Rex right there
YOU’RE BAAAAACKKKK!!!! I was just thinking of storm trippin again today! That video was a huge part of my life and I’ve revisited it over and over again while starting my channel. I remember you watching your videos when I was around 5 with my older siblings, laughing so hard. Most brickfilms nowadays are much shorter and very rushed, but you put in the effort that no one else does and pull off anl nearly impossible task- creating a meaningful story without words, using characters with limited expression-you never rush and take the necessary time and effort to create a perfect BrickFilm. I thought you had retired, but you just used that time to get so much better!
Wow such thoughtful feedback, that means a lot! Glad I could make y'all laugh way back then haha. Yep I'll definitely always be doing creative work of some sort, may not always be LEGO but stop motion is my focus for the time being.
@@LeggAnimations YES!
Legg Animations the definition of “Worth the wait”
Watto: Republic credits? Republic credits are no good out here, I need something more real.
Anakin: Hold my lightsaber.
So when will Lego hire you?
10:32
Yeah, Anakin ya better start running. From Chosen One to Chosen Run. XD
💀
Incredibly well written little short that actually gives Anakin a little bit more development that's sort of been glossed over in every major piece of media despite having a more comedic tones. I also love the little detail of the cannon aliens being on their own planet.
Thanks, I was excited to explore more of Anakin and Obi's relationship dynamic. And masters are always encouraging their Palawans to "remember your training" but I feel like we never really see many examples of that direct training, so that was fun to do also.
I love how he just makes the droid deaths way better quality and breaking pieces for this when he could’ve used less satisfying normal ways
The Obi-Wan falling sequence, damm that's good.
This is awesome!
He’s back
This was very good, I love it. It feels like a cartoon and they did an excellent job with making it a music oriented story 10/10
Couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. Incredible work. In my head this is canon
😁
this was so smooth! the animation and emotion you were able to portray is astounding, the visuals and og sound effects where on point, and the humor was entertaining. 100/10, you knocked it out of the park with this one. that little fist bump sequence at the end was just icing on the cake
Thanks Robert!
O master of the un-spoken story! Glad to have you back.😊
The music being crafted perfectly for every scene is so refreshing!
Thanks! The composer Matthew Chilelli did some great work.
Aw, thanks! I'm so happy you enjoyed the music too!
This has got to be the highest quality Lego animation I have seen in a long, long time. I looove the way you tied it into the one-off line in Revenge of the Sith, that was so clever and I honestly didn't see that coming
this is incredible!
This was great and very funny
It is CRIMINAL how small your channel is, this is better quality then like any other stop motion I’ve seen on CZcams!
Is it bad that I can hear the clone wars versions of these characters actually talking to each during this whole thing. Obi-Wan yelling at Anakin to get a tank off him as Anakin replies with most witty responses.
Masterpiece! I see you used mech-arm tentacle from the spiderman set. Very creative
HAD to include the doc ock tentacle
This was a very high quality animation and it was super entertaining throughout the entire video. I especially liked how it is all tied into that one like from Revenge of the Sith.
1:54 those OG Battlefront death sounds
Oh my goodness! When I clicked on this video, I just expected a gag. But that, that was amazing! AMAZING!
That`s brilliant. Literally all things in this little movie are perfect: script, smoothness, picture quality, effacts - all are in the highest level of skill. I`m sure, еhese years of waiting are certainly justified. A masterpiece.
Wow! This was amazingly well done 🔥 Great job man! Loved the use of the AOTC figs and the story was very charming
Thank you very much! I thought AOTC could use some love 😀
Lego needs to see this
this is goddamn INSANE! the music, the cinematography, the editing, everything - beyond impressive !!
The king returns after 4 years
Better late than never 😅
@@LeggAnimations yup, it was worth the wait!
Nice! Making Lego animations is fun :)
The quality and smoothness of this is absolutely insane, I have never see anything so amazing made with Lego stop motion
This is probably the greatest Lego brick film I’ve ever scene
Thanks bro
@@LeggAnimationsyou are welcome, literally nothing is on this level. I rewatched it just now and it’s stunning how perfect this whole thing is
NO WAY HES BACK!!!
Actually so incredible. Great storytelling, cinematography, vfx, all of it. Its even more impressive that it was all done with no diolauge
I appreciate it Chicken Guy. Really tried to up my game in all of those ways.
This was so ridiculously well done, I’m in loss for words on how amazing this was
Holy moly, this is one of the smoothest and well put together brickfilms I’ve ever seen!
certified hood classic
Thank you for the official certification 😌
Bro the music here is god tier 0:51
Hahaha! I'm so glad you enjoyed that cue. It was fun to create Cantina Band MUZAK that morphed into this moment.
THE CLASSIC BATTLEFRONT SOUNDS FOR THE CLONES 😭😭💗💗💗
YOU KNOW IT 🙌🏼
It feels like a Lego commercial
It’s nice to see someone still makes animations longer than 2 minutes
I always liked the longer vids! More time to tell a story.
I have not seen a better Brickfilm life this in a while, everything is so neat and clean. There is nothing wrong with this animation
Probably the highest quality brickfilm I’ve seen
This is beyond incredible. The animation quality and the storytelling including the visual humor is truly on another Level. I would pay for a full lenght movie of this for sure. Amazing job!
Thank you!
Bro became the Star Wars™️ version of doc oc at 4:36
This is easily the best stop motion I have ever seen.
Okay this is some True Jedi filmmaking right here!
I have to comment. The way you created new music from the Cantina songs was fantastic, and the inclusion of the Jedi Knight force jump sound - which I haven’t heard in 20 years - made me so happy!
Thanks for commenting! All music credit goes to Matthew the great composer I worked with (matthewchilelli.com). I literally just finished Jedi Knight II last week haha
Best stop motion I’ve ever seen! This should be in a movie theater
The legend is back babyyyyyy
This project is so beautiful and high budget
99% being broken authentic legos,
1% everything else
This looks like something you’d see in a Lego ad but much higher quality
holy... you just revived my interest in stop motion lego, this is amazing
I am in shock. This is the absolute best short film I’ve ever seen created with these little plastic bricks. I’m amazed- and surprised you haven’t already been swept up by Lego to work on their video games or something. This is genuine talent.
Thank you so much, that means a lot!
The scene where the tank gets dissolved in acid was seriously well done!
Thank you for appreciating that lol, that shot was such a pain to figure out 😅
The handshake at the end was my favorite, and using Obi-Wan's credit card xD the whole thing is a masterpiece
This is THE BEST stopmotion I have ever seen. I subbed after watching first minute because I knew this is gonna be good. Wow.
Thanks for the feedback and for the sub!
Woah! The best one yet!
The Best stopmotion I’ve ever seen, the best quality and the most funny 😂😂😂❤
Damn I remember watching these all those years back like 11 or 10 years ago, this channel has grown quite a lot :)
10:42 Anakin: *“Not again, Obi Wan is going to kill me!”*
1:14 Wow, He's using Obi-wan's credit card
Obi wan would be bankrup
Omg this is possibly one of the best lego animations I've ever seen!
Better production value and storytelling than the sequels!!!
Excellent, just excellent, a nice addition to my collection.
* coughs in Grievous *
I know I'm late but you have no idea how much this brightened my dad seeing this in my recommended. I remember watching Storm Tripping 1 and 2 all the time when I was younger. Keep the work up man, glad to have you back.
So glad to hear that!
One of the best Lego animations I've ever scene! My favorite part was probably when you showed the camera scroll through the hospital, that must have taken a super long time to animate! I love all the details you put in there!
Hey thanks so much! That's one of my favorite parts of it too. I remember I animated that shot over 3 days, but the VFX of creating Coruscant in the background of the first part took even longer haha
@@LeggAnimations Haha! Wow!
This video will soon be an instant classic
2:43 Hello there!
I watched the brilliant Storm trippin video over and over as a kid and I know for sure that if this wonderful animation came out at the time too I would’ve watched it even more 💙
Everything From the effects to the way you tell so much from just pure Lego. From every story beat you could tell what a character was thinking and why they acted the way they did. MY GOD! How are you this good??? keep up the work because you're doing great! Great video and I hope this comment finds you well
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me! This kind of feedback truly does keep me going :)
