- Kristi Guillory and Courtney Granger, two of the most sought after Cajun vocalists, have joined forces to deliver an instructional video like none other. They present the lyrics to four of Cajun music's most famous and beautiful songs and slowly teach the Cajun French lyrical pronunciation through a unique call and response technique. Each song is introduced by a jam with Kristi on accordion, Courtney on fiddle and featuring Christine Balfa on guitar.

Kristi I tried to purchase the 4 songs on cd baby but got a 404 not found. I think there is still a market for this kind of teaching recording. Is there someplace we can get more of these recordings? Some of us who are not native speakers really could be helped to move from vocabulary to conversational with these. You guys sound great. I am sad to think that I only now found Courtney and it was too late. RIP.

After 5 years, i reckon i'm not the only one who don't know how to play a guitar. ( nor what a cord progression is ...)
Now my Daddy ( the only one who played any musical instrument in 5 generations ) was forced to play in the band while going to pre-med. Since we're musically disenfranchised, they gave him the cymbals and everytime the band master nodded at him he clashed them together. Would have become a surgeon other than the war came along and Uncle Sam drafted him ...
