Here’s a song from Feufollet's Halloween performance in 2016, at the Blackpot Festival in Lafayette, Louisiana. We sure had fun filming it.
Enjoy this Roots of Fire Digital Extra.

It won the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities Documentary of the Year in 2023, and played at 25 film festivals including Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Indie Memphis, San Francisco Documentary Film Festival.
The film features Joel Savoy, Jourdan Thibodeaux, Kristi Guillory, Kelli Jones, and Wilson Savoy, with appearances by Anna Laura Edmiston, Barry Ancelet, Chas Justus, Chris Segura, Chris Stafford, Darrell Toups, Eric Adcock, and Roddie Romero.
Musical performances by Bonsoir Catin, Feufollet, Jourdan Thibodeaux et les Rôdailleurs, Pine Leaf Boys, T'Monde, Anna Laura Edmiston, Roddie Romero, and more.
The accompanying digital series features vignettes with a variety of artists, including established stars in Cajun and Zydeco, behind-the-scenes videos, and featurettes, and live songs.

J'aime les Cajuns. Je constate qu'ils font comme les Bretons : ils se servent d'Internet pour faire vivre leur culture. Hauts les coeurs !

I can hardly understand how three folks could give a thumbs down to this excellent performance providing just uncomparably good mood!
Have you considered that mess on the synthesizer? The band seems to be conflicted as to whether or not they are a dance band.

12/23/2022. What great cajun music! Coming from a family of traditional cajun musicians, it’s refreshing to hear up&coming bands carry on what our ancestors blessed us with. GodBless&Merry Christmas😊

The three people were not into this kind of music. What is there to understand? I love it
Ayeeeee sounds like home!
A sixties hippy with an accordion - I just luv it.
he's exactly that kind of a French guy like the famous knight d'Artagnan of the three musketeers, fighting for justice along with his two buddies in these old movies from the sixties 😄. Best wishes from Austria🇦🇹🇫🇷🇺🇸
J’adore cette musique. Merci pour ce beau moment live.

It seems that the accordion player always get my utmost attention. This guy is one of the best.
Thanks for this,
Wow. This is truly an outstanding band. Awesome.
I have watched this quite a few times now and it always gives me a boost. Of course I am strangely drawn to the enigmatic violinist. Apart from the music, what is special is the constant looks between the band members who absolutely know that they have nailed it with a kick-ass performance.
I am drawn to her, too! 🥰
@@danny_davis And me, but she looks much better without the 'Goth' makeup. czcams.com/video/RDARVTw594g/video.html

Spotted her right away. I am intensely jealous of her partner.
Я тоже думаю что это она. Омск, Россия!💯
I spent time yesterday trying to believe my eyes, back and forth between "And Shaye went dancin " from the Ashtonia festival in Holland. I should have looked through the comments
Yaayhoo!!

Holy crap! at 00:28 on the vid: Shay Cohn, of Tuba Skinny fame. It was her, for sure.
💯♥️
Dead center of screen at 0:26 to 0:28 seconds, is Shaye Cohn horn player of Tuba Skinny group enjoying a dance. World is not that big guys !
You've got good eyes. It is her.
I was looking through the comments to see if anybody else that they saw her, too.
at 0:28, it looks like Shaye Cohen, from Tuba Skinny, dancing in the middle of the crowd!
Yep, night off for the precious lady.
Is this a French bluegrass group?! Kickass! Can't wait to see you guys at Red Wing Roots!
“French bluegrass”? That’s actually pretty close. Either you’re kidding, or you’ve never been to Cajun Land! Note also the guest appearance by the extraordinary Aurora Nealand on sax!
Haha I did a bit of research on them and found out they were Cajun after I posted this. I wasn't kidding, an honest mistake as I took a bit of beginners French in college and I recognized some words. I've been to Louisiana on work, but I haven't had the pleasure of spending a significant amount of time among the Cajun folk. I love their seasoning though! They seem like quite an interesting amalgamation of people.
"French bluegrass"? That's a new one mon ami!
KICK ASS 100%
IM ENJOYING THIS
They look so relaxed, too. Well, except for the keyboard player. He got a little wild.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is a shot in the dark, but does anyone know how I can get the lyrics to "Les Temps Passe'" by Feufollet?
😄❤❤❤❤
Even if you don't know how - dance anyway!
