Lyrics:
She's mine
She's mine
And she's fine
And I know so deep in my heart
I really need her
And I know that
She - is the one I love
She - one I'm thinking of
She - that girl blows my mind
She - I know my girl is fine

Teddy Riley really interpreted the Jacksons here! This album was theirs and it smashed and made me prance way back when.
They should’ve put this out as a single and had a music video for it. That album would’ve shipped platinum FOR SURE! This the one! Whole vibe! Shoutout to Randy!
Facts. It fits perfectly in that era
i was thinking the same thing
HPPY 2024. Facts!! She was a Major Radio Hit for The Jacksons in New York due to Teddy Riley being born and raised in Harlem. Many clubs and stations in New York played this classic and it was the 1st song I heard from the album. If I was working at Epic I would have had the group perform this joint at Showtime At The Apollo and would have released this as a single and film the video in Gary Indiana with Teddy doing some remixes. Even Arensio Hall loves this song.
I love this song! Jacksons forever! Sing it Randy!
Newjackswing master piece
This has Teddy Riley and new jack swing written all over it. I can so imagine Guy or Bobby Brown singing this.
If you listen close, Aaron Hall is singing background, the beat itself kinda reminds me of a sped-up version of I'll Be Good To You by Bobby.
Yes Aaron Hall and Gene wrote this one.
Facts
@@mikewish19Gene didn't write anything
one of my favorite , so many years ago
At the time i had to buy this cassette twice. I listened to it so much that the tape broke, the tape recorder tore it apart. I cried about it.
TEDDY RILEY GENE GRIFFIN Killled it !!! Fire LIKE TODAY GROUP !!!
Gene had nothing to do with this
TEDDY RILEY ( KING OF NEW JACK SWING ) PROD !!! YEP YEP !!!
Yeah he is
This is where "I Like" came from.
my favourite :-)
😎
Sounds Like Of New Jack Swing Era
And Jodeci made "My Phone" from this too.
No
@@cajunbatman alright my bad
This wasn’t a bad sounding song. Randy did it well however I liked ‘Nothing Compares To You’ off the album a little better.
Notice he looked towards his family not the camera we missed that
Michael should've been on this 1
Randy produced it and did well with the fresh New Jack Swing sound . This was the best song off the 23000 Jackson Street album in my opinion. He was the better singer than Micheal as well in my opinion even back on the triumph album
Ppl SLEEP on Randy! My fav song of his was the solo record he did on the Victory album called “One More Chance”.
I wouldn't say better since l singer
Lol. You are getting way carried away 😂😂😂😂😂
This was Teddy Riley and Aaron Hall. Gene Griffin got a writing credit but he stole it from Teddy.
This classic was produced by Teddy Riley Randy sang lead on this song. Randy slayed vocally on this classic which became a huge radio hit
We know now why MJ kept away from this album.... Genes are not shared equally. 🙄
These boys sold over 500,000 copies (Gold status) and had a top 10 hit without Mike. I used to think like you trust me… I thought they were washed without Mike, but these boys actually did their thing on this record.. especially Randy
You don't know much. Michael appears on this album. 🤦🤷
@@GalaxyNexus1 I do in fact. Check the credits. MJ sang three lines on the title song, period. The same shit when his father begged him to do the Victory Tour. He was done with the Jacksons but "helped out" his brothers to make money. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2300_Jackson_Street
@@granddam5326he sang more than 3 lines, but if he sang 1 WORD...guess what? He appeared in the album. I'm so tired of people in 2022 ignoring facts and creating their own realities. He appears on the album, so NO he did not keep away from the album. End of story. Keeping away from the album, means he KEPT AWAY from the album.
Wrong. After the Victory tour Marlon and Michael decided to leave to pursue full time solo careers. Epic had called the told the group they wanted Michael to work on the follow up to Thriller. A few weeks later Marlon called a family meeting to announce he was leaving the group so Jackie, Tito Jermaine and Randy decided to carry on. Plus Michael loved the album and he was constantly on the phone with Epic telling them to promote the album. The album did well and this single became a huge Radio Hit.
