As both a mai player and a somewhat member of the BA community, I'm still amazed on how this game is always the one thing that can effectively anger Twitter users. And as for people there, they're pretty much the most chill community I've ever visited. Drama rarely ever happens, and it almost feels like it's the last place where such niche anime trope is freely/openly accepted. Which is the reason why BA Senseis celebrate whenever people get filtered _(if their celebration somehow angered you, sorry for that)_ as the lolicon trope has always been the most controversial anime trope since the beginning and us Senseis have been falsely accused of doing wrong things every single time we do our usual crying😭😭😭.
For those who have never played mai before, please don't get discouraged after seeing that video. You CAN still play the funny washing machine game, knowing that it was just a modded cabinet probably owned by some Chinese guy. Like most of us, we'll just forget about it in the future. If you find a cab out in the open, feel free to try it out! Just, don't do those weird stuff in public please.

However, I feel the real takeaway here with both games, is to not overgeneralize. Simply put, we should be careful not to make ill assumptions on groups or games as a whole because of those who engage in questionable behavior, or negative elements that happen to embed themselves within those categories. as a BA player i am quite satisfied that the game filters itself. it shows what people are getting into and if they try it and dont like what they see, they can go away. my issue with the video is more on the part of the maimai players.
