    My husband had this done at only 41 years old. He woke up in the middle of the night having a lot of trouble breathing, when we went to the emergency room the doctors did all the appropriately checkings and exams like: Blood, x-rays, ct-scan, etc.
    The results confirmed he had a major heart attack and his condition was so bad that by the next day they had to do an emergency catheterization procedure (a stent thingy is inserted in a leg artery and all the way into the heart to find the blockage) By the very next day he was having the bypass open heart surgery depicted in this short. The doctors told us he was very lucky to be alive given the cathastrophic extent of the disease. My husband is a healthy, in shape middle-aged man born in 1978. There were no warnings prior to the heart attack. This awful situation hit us completely out of the blue so, ladies & ma'ams please have your husbands and sons check their health and heart regularly, it might save their lives. Heart disease is the biggest SILENT KILLER affecting Americans (especially men, according to my husband's doctors). He now has to take a multitude of different types of medication and shots for life.

      I am very moved by your story. I lost my father to a sudden heart attack and I always wondered if there was a way to predict it before things are too late.
      Are there any routine exams we can get to screen the heart and veins ? I really to include this into my annual exam if possible.

    People always have this conversation wrong. They always talk about plaque. The key word here you should be mentioning is ossification. It's not nearly of as much concern until that soft plaque turns into a bone-like material inside of your blood vessels. This is super easy to prevent by just getting enough fat-soluble vitamins D & K, and the minimal amount of Magnesium and Boron. Without vitamins D3 and K2, stem cells in your blood vessels get confused and think they need to turn into bone cells. They then begin to turn the plaque into a bone-like structure by mineralizing it (which is called ossification). Boron is highly underrated and most people don't know how important it is for bone strength and hormone production, among other things. Without Boron, your bones cannot take the calcium from your bloodstream and put it into your bones where it belongs. That's part of the reason why it ends up becoming a part of the plaque in your blood vessels. Bone is a very difficult thing for the heart to pump blood through. Let us please stop looking at it like just "plaque", and start addressing the real problem... because I seriously doubt that my heart has all that much trouble pumping blood through a material that has a cheese-like consistency. In fact, I know that it doesn't. As long as I keep that plaque from ossifying, it almost doesn't matter how much of it there is built up - or I should say - as long as I engage in some intense physical activity once every couple days, it won't build up. Because it's soft, and easily cleared out when my blood flow increases significantly.

      Nice one J,
      the cholesterol peddling is because pharmaceutical companies invented a drug to reduce cholesterol ala the statin was born = profit = dividends = happy shareholders.
      Whereas they've never been able to invent a pharmaceutical to reduce calcium in the blood.

Please look into Whole Food Plant Based Nutrition and the following doctors: Joel Fuhrman, Michael Greger, Neal Barnard, Brooke Goldner, Saray Stancic! Most days of the week he only eat once and he will eat anything he wants. He didn’t smoke but occasionally drink alcohol. Didn’t even exercise but he had a morning house choirs routine. He never had any heart disease and whatnot. He died due to complications after getting covid virus in ‘21. I miss him.

    So what is the type of diet that is the absolute best in terms of preventing blockages in blood vessels?

    • @healthdecide
      @healthdecide  Před 6 měsíci +2

      A heart-healthy diet emphasizes whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats, while minimizing processed foods, added sugars, and unhealthy fats. Dietary patterns like the Mediterranean, DASH, and plant-based diets are widely recommended for their benefits in reducing heart disease risk. Limiting salt and sugar intake, alongside maintaining a healthy lifestyle with regular physical activity, is crucial for heart health. Additionally, certain supplements, such as omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, and CoQ10, can be beneficial for heart health, supporting cardiovascular function and reducing the risk of heart disease when used alongside a healthy diet and lifestyle.

      The blockade is inside the wall of the artery and can't really be removed. A lot of the time nowadays cardiologists do what's called stenting or PCI to open up the narrowed part of the artery from the inside, and then put in a wire mesh to stop it from closing up again. It's easier and safer than a bypass surgery.
