- Angioplasty: Medical 3D animation video. I was approached by client to create a detailed medical animation video to show the process of angioplasty and their product 3V Siris (stent) for internal training purpose. All aspect of project from pre-visualization, reference gathering, storyboarding to final render was delivered by us in 4 weeks.
Houdini was primarily used for modelling and animation while mantra for render. Nuke was used for compositing and CC.

Having a heart attack at 37, about 2 years ago. Done with angioplasty and it saved me. Control your diet and keep yourself healthy before it's to late. Remember your loved ones.

The visual presentation enhances understanding and appreciation of the process....which Cardiologists fail to do or just skim over it as long as there's supposed understanding which satisfies the legal requirements for the procedure.

I have to undergo this procedure in a few weeks as a result of a diagnosis of atrial fibrillation and a slight blockage. I find this presentation incredibly fascinating, scary and a relief at how amazing modern medical practices are. They make it look like a routine trip to the dentist for a filling!!!

Excellent illustration. I had this done 3 days ago (19Jun23)...two stents out in. And am currently recovering. Amazing to see how it all works.
I just want to check if there is blockage. But the doctor said it this stent will be done at the same time when if found any blockage

I had this stent 6 years ago, I was 34 years old then. This is what's keeping me alive, I'm 40 years old now.
Sir i want to know that is there any life limitations ? After having stent ...actually i read on Google that you will survive only 5 year more after doing angioplasty.

Well, I'm doing great. I guess I surpassed the time frame or life expectancy my friend, its now 7 years and I am still good. I know people who had them and lived for many many years. With a stent I am no longer be able to do extrainious tasks. Also I'm already 40 years old was no longer active when I was younger. Healthy foods and stuffs is always on the menu, and avoiding stress as possible.
Also I have medicines as maintainace, I still take them regularly. Healthy living my friend is the key, I wasted my younger years doing unhealthy stuffs.

Beautiful animation. Models are great with nice textures. Love the music, I heard before on Pandora’s massive attack channel. Few critiques, 1. the radial artery is not that torturous 2. Angioplasty is not typically repeated as video shows 3. Looks like the stent cuts through the plaque which is not the desired outcome.

I just got my stent last week in right coronary artery. It was a total surprise after recent stress test, ultrasound, and phyisical. I was wondering just how good it would be structurally ( I am a Mechanical Engineer). Looks better than the real thing. I just have to make sure those platelets leave it alone and just pass on through. They tell me the Plavix takes care of that.

Hey....I have heard about new method where instead we remove plague from vessels and in that method we don't have to keep stent inside our vessel as we have already remove plague its quite safe and I particularly feel that it doesn't have any side effect we feel normal as we were before the sugery
