With Tony having a Hall of Armor we will get a Iron Man every year. Even multiple times a year. We still got the retro Iron Man wave coming. Come on Mandarin, Blacklash, Living Laser, Justin Hammer, Crimson Dynamo, Titanium Man and Century
I really love the 80th Anniversary Iron Man figure. It's the Iron Man that I knew from my youth, and I absolutely love it. That said, this new one is now my second favorite because it has all the classic elements that say "Iron Man" to me, with some new, modern aesthetic thrown in for an update. Many modern designs have departed from the unique look of the classic Iron Man, but this one embraces his roots. This Iron Man is recognizable as his namesake. A great helmet. Nice red and yellow color balance, and all the key elements are presented here. The poses you can get are wicked-cool, and I just love it! I'm super eager to get this one!
I know this Ironman armor doesn't have metallic paint, But to me, I need this Alex Ross Model 70 Ironman for my Ironman armory because I have AI, Stealth, Silver Centerion, and Modular Ironman figures, He will fit in perfect with the rest of the armors, Awesome review MCUcollector24 because this figure looks fire.
"At first you're gonna be like 'dammit Habsro, another Iron Man figure?'" Not me, since I'm an Iron Man collector. The reviews I've seen of this figure have warmed me up to it, but I really wish it used the same deep red as the Modular Armor. Ross designed it in a way it's meant to have a chrome finish, so the candy apple red would have been a better choice. I also still wish the eyes were closer together and thinner. Hasbro could've gone the extra mile and do something similar to the Iron Man 2020 or Doctor Doom figures so Tony's eyes could be visible under the eye slits.
I just picked this figure up from Ollie's for $10 and I'm really liking it. Pretty posable and he looks bad ass with the accessories attached,
I am completely the "oh god, not another Tony...oh crap, it's a great figure GIMME!!!" guy.
After the 80th was released, I thought I had all the Shellhead's for my collection, but as you said; " Damn it Hasbro!"
This is definitely my endgame-esk figure, while the modular armor is my infinity war-esk figure.
The neck on modular IM also has a disc hinge, with a separate neck piece as well… doesn’t move as well as this one, but just thought I’d point that out
Great point because the Modular Ironman does look really good but the arms and neck hinges are always stiff because my Modular Ironman figure's neck hinge is pretty stiff
Good review and beautiful figure, maybe some day Hasbro will give hulk fans some love doing new figures based on the most recent looks.
I had doubts on this figure but man my opinions changed. Now I want him.
Didn't think I wanted this figure when I first saw images of it but now seeing reviews it does looking pretty impressive. I do wish they used that 80th anniversary iron man paint job to give it that metalic feel look more like that alex ross art, also would have been great to have eyes instead of them being blacked out.
I've really enjoyed this figure. I didn't think I would, but since getting in hand i love it.

I am enjoying the recent IM comics with this armor and can't wait to get this figure! For anyone complaining about too many Iron Men--as long as Hasbro gives us unique armors like this one, I will buy them. In particular I can't wait for the AI/Heroes Return armor, Extremis armor, and an updated Neo armor. I'd also like to see new original appearance grey and gold armors to form an OG Avengers team (with a classic Wasp).

Dude I just found this at Ross for $5.99! I found Zombie Iron Man at Ross earlier this month for same price. 2024 is looking pretty good so far for finds.

I really was surprised how much I love this Iron Man figure. I used gubdsn Gundam type black marker and traced the lines black and it really enhanced the sculpt and love it even more lol

Top looking Iron Man. If Hasbro want to keep making Tony Stark armours as good as this, then no problem. Great for folk who missed some of the others.
Yes I think Xcorpeo used a black Gundam marker on the lines. Made it look even better.

That’s odd I just tried the okoye wave Tony shark head and it pops on just fine and looks pretty good as it’s the closest to what he looked like in that series.

It is awesome from my perspective because this is another great Ironman design since the Modular design from the 90s and of course classic from Jack Kirby.
Definitely a good one...if I was a iron man collector I would get it.
The waist swivel would have been hidden nicely on this figure. But to be fair. In human anatomy, the waist doesn’t swivel. An upper body rotation along with an ab crunch would have been perfect.

Modular Iron man is definitely peak Iron man.
I really thought he had a ball joint waist, because he really appeared like that. I'm so sad they didn't do that, the figure would be perfect for me if he had that. Still a great figure, I managed to get it for 15 on dorksidetoys today.

Fun fact, this armor appears as the artwork on the back of the box for the 80th Anniversary Iron Man figure.
None of the Iron Man armors match reds, golds, or even yellows. Kinda disappointing lol. At least be consistent on using gold or yellow. Just pick one.
Same could be said for modular iron man, the gold really should be yellow but that’s just nitpicking
