The head sculpt, the retro look & finding basically the whole wave cheap at Ross, won me over!!🤣
Really happy to be able to learn more about this character through the BAF, and look forward to completing him this coming Holiday. I also look forward to some other classic Iron Man villains, such as Unicorn or a classic Living Laser.

My first (and only until 1978) Iron Man comic was #13 with it's all-red cover, so the Controller has a special place in my comic book memories.
He worked for the Red Skull briefly in the early 1990s.
Yup I know all about him. For time sake I needed to keep my character review short.
I wasn't expecting this baf to be that great. When they revealed him I was like great blue Thanos.... He's one of my favorite bafs this year. Mine thankfully didn't have that leg issue.

When the Outback Rogue body comes out you can swap the head and guns and belt off of Madame Hydra onto that body for at least more articulation

This figure was under the radar. It’s a great figure
I loved the deluxe Thanos so I was predisposed to like this. The hand options are something all bafs, deluxe and standard figs should have.
I'd like a Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man as they appeared in the Armour Wars graphic novel.
A new improved Madame Mask on the Shriek bod would be cool. With better torso articulation.
Blizzard is due an update. Better bod and some Ice power effects.
I remember Ron Lim's Silver Surfer comics in the 1990's Nebula had a bulky bruiser of a sidekick called Geatar I think. The Thanos/ Controller bod would be perfect for him.

This Controller BAF really won me over. Looks so good brawling with Iron Man
The only cool Avengers villains that I need to get are retro carded classic Loki, Ursa Major BAF classic Ultron, Abomination BAF the Leader, But overall in general, The Controller does look so badass because Iron Man will always find a way to stop his villains that are trying to destroy our world, Amazing review on the Controller Manny.

Good reuse but i only want to army build the female shield agents they should've included a helmeted head for her too

The Controller should be at runner up for best BAF of the year. This is one of my favorite waves so far and giving us new never released (or sculpted) figures.
He’s a very cool BAF. I enjoyed him more than I thought I would.
They really did a good job with this figure except they should have given him a ball waist but I love love obscure villains keep them coming the more villains they do the happier I’am I wish they would do more bring on the bad guys waves they should do two a year
6:49 that part right there reminds me of the Korg Build a figure from the thor love and thunder wave which that figure has gummy legs.
I sold that BAF immediately lol. That one was way worse than this.

Absolutely agree. An update that’s long overdue. You would’ve thought we’d have one by now since Shang-Chi launched last year. I think they’re saving it for an Iron Man retro wave.

That’s a lot of money lol. He’ll just go on my villains shelf. I did consider putting him with my Spider-Man side villains but it’s getting full. He fits better on my Villains shelf.
Try putting it in hot water and tie the legs with a rubber band and keep it like that for a day or two
And I do know that you watch anime since you mentioned inosuke in the 5pack review, so ever gonna pick anime figures , I know it's a different thing since you only have to rely on imports like figma or shf ...But just wanted to know your inputs since that's the main line I collect anime figures and occasionally mafex DC and shf marvel

Lol yeah I do not consider that version to be the Controller. I never liked that show at all.

The reuse of Thano's groin/underwear piece really ruin it for me. It should have been more like a short akin to the Thing. It messes up his heroic proportion. Otherwise, it would have been a great figure. The right thigh issue is terrible. You have the worst luck with thigh pieces, first Morg now Controller Lol. Great vid.
Thanks! Honestly, the trunks didn’t bother me at all. Not even the slightest to ruin it for me. But I can see here you are coming from. It doesn’t detract it at all from being a great BAF. It’s still a great BAF. And yeah, I think it’s Karma from all the chicken thighs I eat in front of Vegans lol
