17:58 I think I'll be using that effect to hold over his head as a (half circle back + P) repulsor blast. Would've been nice to have some smart bombs, since normal marbles, while plentiful, are typically too heavy. I had some small USB fans, and I think that and some of those cheap dollar tree colorful, rolled up, small bin trash bags will make a better looking effect for the proton cannon.

Very comprehensive review! I much prefer the longer content to the 30s clips YT is trying to push. You were not kidding when you said you had 72 different iron man figures lol. Would love to see some of the updates you mentioned! I have this preordered but am undecided if I wana keep the effects for the hot rod/gold version and sell this one or vice versa. Keep it up!

I am very excited to get this figure! I hope Hasbro has a few more of these retro IM figures coming soon. I’m okay if the do some repacks. I hope for those who missed him they repack Dreadknight since he was an exclusive. Packaging like this evokes those feelings of excitement for exclusives as the packaging was always premium on those offerings. I hope the card back is strong like the retro Spider-Man cards. It doesn’t look like the double card sealing in the bubble. Great pick next to War Machine. Very cool. I do wish there was a bit more brow sculpted in. I do like the more recessed arc reactor area. I know it is for the effect. It just gives the chest more dimension. The plasma/photon cannon is a beast. You have to try to get pics without the stand. Is the cannon heavier than the figure? Lighter? I thought that cannon was an invention of the arcade game. I did find out there are comics with the cannon. He had a sweet carapace to hold that massive gun in the comics. I look forward to exploring effect pieces and how the work with the cannon. Loved all the comparisons. I have those figure from Toybiz and Hasbro too. Love the thumbnail armory shot too! Toybiz Mark 1 is pretty sweet. Hasbro has so many they can remake. The new one in the Controller BAF is a nice IM. As Iron Man would say in the game after dispatching his sparring partner, “Superior attack….or uhm review.”

Maybe Do some head swaps w/ All them Iron Man figs if your trying to do A long winded review. & How come nobody mentions the annoying old "disc hang-over" waist swivel design. That Sucks! This is Modular IRON MAN. Even These GiJC _Snake Eyes_ movie figs from 2 years out- don't have that sickening waist swivel hang-over.

Red and Gold is Iron Man’s color but I did the mustard/ketchup color a lot because of the TAS and his appearance in Spider-Man TAS.

What did you use to paint the arc reactors yellow?
Hello! I used Citadel yellow paint.
Is this going to be sold at Target and Walmart? I saw these on ebay for almost one hundred dollars.
Right now they are on hasbro pulse for preorder for 44.99. I think they will hit retailers but not sure which ones. Best guess maybe target…
