I've been a part time Dumpster Diver for about 4 years now, I normally go out 2x per week for full dives and sometimes look around 1-2 complexes after the movies etc or on the way home. Overall my eyes are always scanning the curbs and behind shops.
My passion is travel vlogging or adventure vlogging, I love to dumpster dive but travel and filming is my passion. I will be doing both travel adventure vlogging and dumpster diving on this channel.

Fabric sofas better chance for bed bugs ! Not leather ! But spray it down anyway.
I would use my pickup and suv to grab anything that could be reused. If I didn't want it I'd take it all to a chairty for their theft store. I hate throwing out good stuff that can still be used.

Me too, i cant belive what people throw away sometimes. I get that you dont what it, if its small, take to goodwill, if its too big for your car, put it on Craigslist and someone will want it or fix it if its broken. Dont put it in a landfill if someone else could use it....
I LOVE dumpster diving!! I was with my friend the other night and poor woman has NEVER been. We came across a bunch of stuff from someone renovating and had put out curbside. I got her to stop and OMG, YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE STUFF!!! I was so excited and she was laughing at me for being so excited lol I got some nice stuff, unfortunately we were in her husband's 2018 Jeep Wrangler so not much room lol she says " It really doesn't take much to make you happy" I said " NOPE" I would be a good catch for the right guy, first date, guy: So what do like doing?
Me: Dumpster diving! LOL
My friend says " You really are a cheap date! LOL
Me: Why yes, yes I am! LOL
I'm SO trying to get her into it. I told her just wait till you find your first really good score, you will be like " Let's go again!!" LOL
When I grab stuff from skips and by bins I get called a weirdo! Mind you, I have nicer stuff than my mates who won’t own something that they didn’t buy in a shop... who’s winning here?👍🏻😁

Yeah, getting your house debugged would be more expensive than the retail cost of the couch. If the outdoor temperature is below 32 degrees, you keep it outside for 24 to 48 hours. Freezing cold temperatures kill all the bed bugs Etc

Not sure if you'll read this Bro but I was thinking that you should look into a Photobooth Hire business. I think with your charisma you'd make a great one man operation. Really reasonable startup costs plus you may even find half or even everything you need in dumpsters. Hope you see this and do a little research on it. I miss having a truck and garage. There's a rich neighborhood near me I could pick up new tv's, vacuums all night on their trash day. I sold a vacuum for $300 once. Refurb cost $75.
My 1st 3 computers were put together by a friend who found the parts while driving around during kerbside throw-out
I feel like a lot of this was staged. Not that many people leave trash outside the dumpster.
I have a good laugh at all these dumpster videos in the States. You would NEVER find stuff like that in NZ. We donate or sell or dump - and believe me it has to be pretty bad and worn out to dump! I have never seen stuff like that left kerbside ever. I furnished our first home with second hand furniture from second hand stores & online ( new beds) - as we had small children this meant I wasn’t too worried about the furniture. We replaced it gradually as we could afford it. Some we still have, as they were good “mid century “ finds 30 years ago.
I would duck tape the chairs, with a contrast colour, then get a car seat cover for it. Worth a try!

Copy machines are relativly usless without the Service contract. See if it has its vendors sticker on there. And give them a call..either way your gonna pay to have it serviced and those "walk up boxes" (copiers) parts are obsolete in like 5 years.

If something looks like new, and it's by a dumpster, it's probably infested with something. Especially if there is more than one nice thing sitting out there.
mississa2 That’s why I clean the things I find trash picking/dumpster diving. I use LA’s Totally Awesome! It cleans everything! And it’s only $1.00! I’ve been picking for almost 10 years and I’ve NEVER gotten sick. Pretty much everything I use ( TV’s, Computers, Radios, Bikes.etc) including my Otterbox case for my iPhone Se was picked off the side of the road and fixed/cleaned. I’m surprised more people don’t dumpster dive/trash pick.

I was guessing maybe it's part of the office complex of the company they both work for & they didn't care about the show, but about their friends. More money to pay for a good honeymoon! I'm sure the place rocked at night, they had a ton of lights strung overhead between the buildings.

I love dumpster Diving! I have found a Large LCD TV that worked Fine! [ Apparently they just used it for gaming and when that input stopped working they tossed it ] computers/ Vacuum cleaners (all that was wrong with the Vacs were that they were clogged up. ) Recently found a Niice Cuisinart blender! all it needed was a new Blade assembly / got one on Amazon for $11 and Viola! almost brand new High end Blender~!
