Awwww thank you so much for sharing! I'm very impressed by your beautiful playing. I've just taken up the oboe today!! We got one on rental from a lovely music shop where my dear hubby bought my soprano saxophone last Christmas. We have the oboe for six months trial, and I had my very first practice this afternoon! So far I have learned half a dozen notes, but I'm finding the embouchure very tight, and it feels very strange, so very different to the clarinet, soprano and alto sax and flute! Anyway of course it is all very new, so I will spend lots of time practising this week to get more familiar with it all. I have a lovely book with audio tracks to learn with, and may have lessons at Britten's Music, where we got the oboe from as they have their own music school too! I will keep you posted how I get on.
