- A few months ago, we adopted our first dog Boba. After she got well from her spay incision and completed all her vaccines, we took her on a road trip around California. We wanted her to see the world as much as we are able to let her see it. Life is short.. unfortunately, a dog's life is even shorter. We have to make the most of all our lives!
We started our trip from LA. Solvang/Ostrichland, Morro Bay, Big Sur, Redwoods, Googleplex/Mountain View, San Francisco, Sacramento, lake Tahoe, Mammoth, Mono Lake, and some others along the way. We were on the road for 9 days, 8 nights. We slowed down so Boba won't have to be in the car for extended amounts of time.
Many firsts on this trip not only for Boba, but for all of us. We had our first river raft and SUP paddleboard experiences. Boba hiked for the first time to Devils Postpile.
This trip was awesome. We hope this will help people in planning road trips with their families especially families with kids and furbabies.

Hello my friend 🙋🤝🙋🇨🇭🇨🇭
Beautiful video Big like 👍❤👍
Thank you for sharing. I have a German Shepherd and although she is use to road trips I haven’t taken her out of state with me yet. I am planning a cross country trip from Michigan to the west coast! I’m so excited about it as Kelly my GSD will be going along with me to experience everything !
That sounds awesome! I’m sure Kelly will love it!! Our pups are only able to see as much of the world as you allow them to so it’s nice you are letting her go along with u on this trip.
@@VLOGnSHARE definitely! If she can’t go, I won’t go. That’s my motto. I don’t hVe kids and can’t have kids so she is my kid lol if that made any sense 😅
@@NomadDogAdventures how sweet ❤️ they are forever kids who don’t ever fully “grow up”
Thanks for sharing. It is nice to see all the dog friendly places. Do all the places allow pets that you were at or do you call your dog a service dog or emotional support dog? Thanks
all the places we went to are dog friendly and do not require them to be service dogs (:
such a good boy! I have a 15 month old Border Collie who is reactive (I am working on this with her) - the goal is to take her on trips like these!
Your dog seems very well behaved, did he bark at all?!
Boba is a girl.. she gets mistaken as a boy a lot haha. she's not much of a barker, super friendly loves people and other dogs. it's great to take them everywhere with you as much as possible so they get comfortable being around people. our dogs love going on road trips or even a short day trip with us
@@VLOGnSHARE haha I should have not assumed! My friends frenchie is named boba and is a girl! Did you hire a dog trainer at all? Trying to see if I should invest in a good trainer, I paid $1500 for a trainer (5 sessions) but results were just ok.
we had a few training sessions.. did help a little but we had to stop due to schedule change. i think with enough patience you can train by yourself too.
Boba😅
Boba ♥️🥰
Also is Boba named after Boba Fett? Also where did you get her life jacket ?
Boba is actually the boba from boba milk tea 🧋 those round black balls. A friend of mine suggested it and it fits her since she’s all black.
The life jacket is from Amazon. The brand is Outward Hound
