Thanks Interkast!
Something that most people do not know is that this song was born as a working song of the mondine, who were working class little girls who were "recruited" by the landowning burgeoisie to work in the rice paddies of eastern and southern Piedmont, mostly in the provinces of Vercelli and Novara, but also in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna.
Their work was to eliminate weeds and parasites from the rice plants.
They were constantly exposed to malaria and received a starvation wage.
The original lyrics of "Bella Ciao" are about a young girl complaining about her workday and hoping for liberation.
This song became a partisan song because a considerable number of mondine participated in the Italian Resistance Movement as messengers or portiers.
The mondine stopped being hired as late as the 1960's, when rice coltivation was modernized.
Thank you for that history. I was completely unaware of it until researching the origins and writer of this song.

Lyrics from the video-
One morning I woke up,
Oh Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao, Ciao!
One morning I woke up,
And I found the invader.
Oh Partisan, take me away,
Oh Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao, Ciao!
Oh Partisan, take me away
For I feel like im dying.
And if I die as a Partisan,
Oh Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao, Ciao!
And if I die as a Partisan,
You must bury me.
Goodbye, Lucia, no need to be sad,
Oh Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao, Ciao!
I will leave at dawn with a regiment
Of Garibaldi Partisans.
And wait in the mountains to ambush the Fascists
Oh Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao, Ciao!
And fighting next to me
Will be my friends from other countries.
It will be difficult for us, I know that.
Oh Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao, Ciao!
But for the freedom of the Homeland,
We will fight until the end.
But for the freedom of the Homeland,
We will fight until the end!
Ciao!

Или этот Питер говорил что Магомаев иранец?

This is a fragment of the concert film "Muslim Magomayev Sings". USSR 1971
Couldn't go wrong with Muslim Magomayev (or other Union-era artists for that matter).
Meanwhile, modern ones are meh at best, outright disgusting at worst.
